何度傷つけばわかるんだ あきれているよ
同じ過(あやま)ち繰り返して悔やんでみても
何事もないように
また 挑んでしまうのだろう
努力が足りないと本当に思ってるほど
能天気なわけじゃないはず
言われなくてもわかってる
不公平だって・・・

一番 楽な方法は
諦めてしまうこと
そう何も始めなければ
挫折もしないよ

人は愚かなもの
夢なんか錯覚なんだ
いつか叶う気がしても
現実を無視した勝手な妄想じゃないか

何にもしないでいる方が幸せなんだ
みんなと違うことをやるのはホント疲れる
痛い目に遭いながら
ただ 信念貫く
思いの強さが成功に導くなんて
前時代的な考え方
それだけじゃ無理だってこと
気づいてしまった

それでも ジタバタして
仕方なく生きるのだろう
自分の身の丈に合った
希望があればいい

人は懲りないもの
ほとんどが失敗するよ
ずっと投げ出さなければ
実現するような都合のいい慰め言うな

せめて今だけは僕の好きなように
ありえない甘い夢 見させておくれ

Is to give up

There won’t be setbacks either

People are foolish beings
Things like dreams are illusions
Even if you feel that they’re going to come true
Isn’t that your own delusion despite reality?

To be happy, you shouldn’t do anything
Being different from other people is really tiring
All this hard work
Is just for sticking to your beliefs
‘Fervent hope will lead you to success’
That’s a last-century way of thinking
There’s no way to succeed just with this
I’ve realised it now

Even so, we’re still struggling
And inevitably living
We can have hopes
Which suit our positions

People never learn their lesson
And most of them fail
‘Your dreams will come true as long as you don’t give up’
Don’t give me such easy-to-say comforting words

As least for now, just as I wish
Let me see that impossible sweet dream

People are foolish beings
Things like dreams are illusions
Even if you feel that they’re going to come true
Isn’t that your own delusion despite reality?
