生まれた朝を　覚えていない
最初の記憶は母の笑顔
知らないうちに　立って歩き
言葉を知って　愛も感じた

いつしか僕は大人になって
どこかへと向かっている
人混みに紛れ押し流されるように...

この命を与えられた意味
僕は何のために生きるのか?
今ここで　考えたいんだ
時間を無駄にしていないか?
やりたいこと　やっているか?

終わりの夜に振り返るだろう
自分の人生　悔いはないか?
楽しいこととか悲しいこと
目を閉じた時　笑っているか?

それまで僕は前だけ向いて
ゴールへと歩いて行こう
誰もみな　たった一つの道がある

この命を与えられた意味
僕が生まれて来た足跡
今ここで問いかけてみたい
大事な夢を持っているか?
次の朝を待っているか?

この命を与えられたのは
一生かけて何かするため
そう僕が　僕であるために
夢中になれる何かがある
やりたいこと　やっているか?

I don't remember the morning when I was born
My first memory is my mother's smile
Before I realized, I could stand up and walk
Then I learned to speak and I felt love

And suddenly I turned into an adult
And I am going towards somewhere
Confused and drifting among the crowd

The reason why I was given this life
The purpose why I am living
I want to think about it right here and now
Am I not wasting time?
Am I doing what I want to do?

In the night when it all ends I will probably turn back
Will I have no regrets about my life?
There have been happy times and sad times
Will I be smiling when I close my eyes?

Until then I will only face forwards
And walk towards my goal
Everyone of us only has one road to go

The reason why I was given this life
My footsteps since I was born
I want to ask myself right here and now
Do I have a precious dream?
Am I waiting for the next morning?

The reason why I was given this life
Is to do something using my whole lifetime
Yes, there's something I am serious about
In order to be myself
Am I doing what I want to do?
