いつも大人たちが言っていたわ
「森の中で遊んではいけない」と
理由さえも聞かされないまま
子どもたちは森を恐れた

鬱蒼とした
木々たちに閉ざされ
道も見えない
遠い世界

誰かが叫んだよ
「あの場所にも光はある
確かに・・・」
どんな悲しみにも
希望があるように
空の太陽は
見捨てはしない

だけど　大人たちは眉をひそめ
「森へ行ったら帰って来られない」と
小声でそっと囁き合って
森の前で背中向けた

どんな魔物が
住んでいるの？

誰かが指差した
「影があれば光はある
絶対・・・」
深い絶望にも
明日は来るように
風が木洩れ日を
教えるだろう
「地球上に溢れている光よ」
冬の長い夜が
黒く塗りつぶしても
空を見上げれば
星が見える

そっと　目を閉じて
思い出しましょう
心に届く
神々しい
光がある
森へ行こうよ

Someone shouted,
“In that place is a light

No matter the sadness,
As though there’s hope,
The sun in the sky
Won’t forsake me

However, the adults frowned
“If you go to the forest, you won’t come back”
With small voices, they whispered to each other
And turned their backs before the forest

What sort of monsters
Are living in there?

Somebody pointed out,
“If there are shadows, then there’s light
Always…”
Despite the deep despair,
As though tomorrow comes,
The wind lets the sunlight
Stream through the trees for us
“The light is overflowing above ground”
The long winter nights
Even if they’re completely painted black,
If I look up to the sky,
I can see the stars

Quietly let’s close our eyes
And remember
Reach into your heart
A sublime light
Is there
Let’s go to the woods
