Team K is AKB48 2nd Team. Currently the Team have 15 members and Akimoto Sayaka is the captain.

February 26 - Team K is formed with 17 girls: Akimoto Sayaka, Umeda Ayaka, Oshima Yuko, Ohori Megumi, Oku Manami, Ono Erena, Kasai Tomomi, Kobayashi Kana, Sato Natsuki, Noro Kayo, Hayano Kaoru, Masuda Yuka, Matsubara Natsumi, Miyazawa Sae, Imai Yu, Uemura Ayako and Takada Ayana.
April 1 - Shonichi of Team K 1st Stage
June 16 - Uemura Ayako graduate from AKB48
July 5 - Senshuuraku of Team K 1st Stage
July 8 - Shonichi of Team K 2nd Stage
November 6 - Senshuuraku of Team K 2nd Stage
November 8 - Revival of Team K 1st Stage
December 14 - Senshuuraku of Team K 1st Stage's Revival
December 17 - Shonichi of Team K 3rd Stage

April 4 - Senshuuraku of Team K 4th Stage
April 11 - Shonichi of Team K 5th Stage
April 26 - Hayano Kaoru graduate from AKB48
May 29 - Naruse Risa graduate from AKB48
August - Team Shuffle.
- Noro Kayo and Ohori Megumi transfered to SDN48
- Matsubara Natsumi and Kuramochi Asuka transfered to Team A
- Kobayashi Kana, Masuda Yuka, Oku Manami, Chikano Rina, Sato Natsuki and Kasai Tomomi transfered to Team B
- Fujie Reina, Itano Tomomi, Minegishi Minami, Nito Moeno, Yonezawa Rumi, Nakatsuka Tomomi, Kohara Haruka and Tanabe Miku transfered to Team K
- Uchida Mayumi, Kikuchi Ayaka, Nonaka Misato and Matsui Sakiko are promoted
- Akimoto Sayaka choosen as captain of the Team.
