- January 21 – 5 members from the 3rd Draft are announced as NGT48 Kenkyuusei: Ando Chikana, Sato Kairi, Takahashi Nanami, Tsushima Yunako, Fujisaki Miyu.
2019
- March 31 – Takahashi Nanami graduates from NGT48 as a kenkyuusei.
- December 25: Ando Chikana, Sato Kairi, Tsushima Yunako and Fujisaki Miyu are officially promoted.
