Komatani Hitomi is a Japanese idol singer. She is a 3rd generation member of SDN48, formerly of AKB48's Team A.

Is the self-proclaimed 'Lion' of AKB48, hence her signature "Gao!" ("Rawr!").
Her favorite fictional character is Tsukino Usagi from "Sailor Moon".
She enjoys tennis, table tennis and golf. Although at the beginning, she only started liking golf to please her father.
Has a cat which she calls "Sabu-chan".
Considers her eyes her charm-points.
She has one older sibling (sister), who is 7 years older than her.
Would love to visit Egypt one day to see the pyramids.
Her favorite fruits are peach and melon.
When she becomes an adult, the first thing she wants to try is alcohol, because her entire family are strong drinkers.
Believes that the most important thing in the world is to like one's self first and foremost.
Likes to share her taste in music - she has been noted as a fan of Arashi and V6, among others.
Is a fan of Western music as well, such as My Chemical Romance and Green Day.
