April
- 20 - STAR48 held a press conference in Beijing, announcing the establishment of SNH48 sister groups BEJ48 and GNZ48.
- 29 - GNZ48 Theater was officially opened; on the same day, Team G held the premiere of Team G 1st Stage .
- 30 - Team NIII held the premiere of Team NIII 1st Stage.
August
- 26 - GNZ48 first concert "Love Music Wing Up" GNZ48 Dream Departure Show Case Concert was held in Guangzhou Zhongshan Memorial Hall.

- 19 - 1st EP YOU DON'T KNOW ME was released.
October
- 1 - Team G announced the following news:
- Huang LiRong and Xiang Yun were promoted to Team G
- Zeng AiJia was appointed as Team G captain and Gao YuanJing as Co-Captain.
- 2 - Team NIII announced the following news:
- Dai XinYi and Li YiHong were promoted to Team NIII
- Liu LiFei was appointed as NIII captain, and Liu QianQian as Co-Captain.
- 14 - Team G held the premiere of "Team G 2nd Stage"
- 23 - 18 first generation members were promoted and formed a new team, Team Z.

- On October 1, GNZ48's third-stage students held the premiere of the "Idol Research Project".

- On November 23, the following items were announced at the performance of the "Idol Research Project" for preparatory students:
Announcement of 6 fourth-term students; Preparatory students Bi Ruishan, He Mengyao, Liang Wanlin, and Yu Zhiyuan were promoted to Team Z members, and the promotion was officially completed on December 31.

January

- From April 6th to 8th, GNZ48’s 2nd anniversary photo album "What You Didn’t Know..." was released, which is also GNZ48’s first photo album.

Preparatory student Huang Chuyin was promoted to Team G member, preparatory student Wu Yufei was promoted to Team NIII member, and preparatory student Ye Xiaomeng was promoted to Team Z member, and the promotion was officially completed on June 1st; Zeng Aijia and Gao Yuanjing resigned as Team G captain and deputy captain respectively. - From May 1st to 4th, GNZ48 held a series of "GNZ48 Third Anniversary Carnival Week" and announced the following:
- Team G, Team NIII, and Team Z will hold the premieres of "Eighteen Shining Moments" on May 1, 2, and 3 respectively;
- Zhang Xin, a member of SNH48 Team HII, also serves as Team NIII;
- Huang Chuyin was appointed as the second deputy captain of Team G;
July

13 - GNZ48 implemented the new Class 4 and Class 8 "teams" while retaining the 3 existing teams. In the future, the members will perform either in teams or classes.
