The group also hold annually the [[29th Single Janken Senbatsu Tournament | Janken Tournament]], were the Senbatsu members are selected by a Janken (Rock, Scissors and Paper) game, the [[AKB48 Kouhaku Utagassen 2012 | Kouhaku Utagassen]], with special shuffles and the [[Unit Matsuri 2012 | Unit Matsuri]], with performances from sub-units and solos.
