Sorry for double-posting, but speaking of Seahawks and Patriots - last night there was that anticipated Super Bowl XLIX rematch (remember the stupid playcalling the Seahawks made at the end), and my thought says not to think about it - AT ALL - until I hear sound of fireworks in my neighborhood because... THE SEAHAWKS WON! It's the Patriots that made the stupid playcalling at the end - after SEVEN lead changes in the game! (There was also another game that had seven lead changes, and that was when the Cowboys scored the last touchdown in the final seconds of the game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers...)
Oh my, what do we have here? A football forum? As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. A very interesting year so far. I suspect a few more surprises going into the home stretch. 7 - 5 (tied with Atlanta for NFC South lead) 4 Straight wins 5-1 on the road Remaining games Saints @ Tampa Tampa @ Dallas (SNF) Tampa @ Saints Panthers @ Tampa FIRE THE CANNONS
Well then..... if the video does not show watch the video here An ugly game, but a win is a win. 8-5 5 straight wins Next game @Dallas(SNF)
Still hard to believe that the Raiders are in the playoffs. The RAIDERS! Honestly think Jack Del Rio should be the Coach of the Year in my opinion.
If you don't believe in Christmas Miracles, then you should since the Browns actually won a game lol.
Say bye-bye to the Panthers. And say bye-bye to the Broncos because WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A NEW SUPER BOWL CHAMPION!!! (Hopefully the Seahawks despite the recent struggles.)
It is official, as of yesterday. Niners fired Head Coach Chip Kelly and General Manager Trent Balke. Glad to see Kelly go. Not soon enough, IMO. Balke, eh. Got us to the Super Bowl once, the NFC championship three times, rocked the Draft twice in a row. Then he really fucked up personnel management the last three years, including a couple really Drafts.
Well, after the San Diego public says no to a new stadium, the San Diego Chargers are moving to Los Angeles, and for the second straight year comes a new team relocation to Los Angeles... Last year it was the Rams, and now it's the Chargers' turn to move to LA! The twist: They're going to play at StubHub Center - home of the LA Galaxy football (and I mean soccer, not the gridiron) team - and will only be able to carry (disgusting value for NFL stadiums) 30,000 fans per game... (it's only a two-year measure until the new City of Champions stadium, originally home of the Rams but will also host the Chargers, has finished construction) Also, a new logo that some people think the Chargers are trying to copy the Dodgers baseball team logo in some way...
This is L.A. we are speaking about. They will fill that stadium, if only to mock and jeer the Chargers.
Well, down goes the Seahawks. And so does the host team of SB51 the Texans. And that was last night. Sunday: Packers prevail at Dallas that went back-and-forth in the final four minutes. And THAT AARON RODGERS PASS PLAY WITH THREE SECONDS LEFT... :O And the Steelers win in Kansas City with only SIX FIELD GOALS by Chris Boswell, and no touchdowns - despite two touchdowns from the Chiefs... But it could've been overtime - had it not been for the Eric Fisher hold... Anyone thinks the Steelers have a legitimate shot to beat the Patriots next Sunday night?
(Sorry for double-posting) Well, looks like the Steelers wasn't a chance with the Patriots. Same goes for the Packers at Atlanta against the Falcons. So Super Bowl LI is set. Patriots vs. Falcons. Who you've got?
Yep. Weird choice. Lynch never struck me as the front office type. Only time will tell. Really interested in his first draft as GM....
Kurt Warner, Ladainian Tomlinson, Jason Taylor, Terrell Davis, Morten Andersen, Jerry Jones (ugh), and Kenny Easley are going into the HOF this year. Still trying to figured out how the hell TO still didn't make it in (What's more sad that I'm sure Randy Moss will also be waiting next year as well).
Because of his shit attitude during the second half of his career. Not that it has kept others out of the HoF, nor will it keep TO out. But it will make him wait a few years. And yeah, Jerry Jones has no business being admitted. Generally speaking, no owner should be.
