Which Infobox should I use? The SimpleInfobox skips the measurements information (makes it look nicer because many members don't have this information), but the blog field doesn't work (I have to use the specific Google+ field for G+ for example, whereas InfoBox2 you can put it all in the "Blog" field) EDIT: Nevermind, I can just append links to the "Google+" field
All right, I have added all 7gogo private talk links to the currently active members listed in the following page: http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/AKB48_Members This includes transferees (into and away from), kennins, and drafties. I don't think Team 8 has 7gogo pages as of now. Some members left their private talk (Kawaei and Ishida), and some haven't updated for quite a while. These I did not include. I also added twitter links that I know and I added Paruru's Instagram link to her page. Hopefully it will be useful to people who want to know more about the members. Cheers! edit: I can also help out with the wiki here and there. I'll monitor this thread.

Hi everyone! Important message. Spoiler You probably already know that the admins are not active in the forum anymore, so we are not able to create new accounts on Wiki48. However, a long time ago I asked Mr Waffle to become an admin on Wiki48, but just to delete pages. Recently, with the absence of the admins and all my messages about the theme being ignored by Staff, I searched a little bit deeper on what "I can" do as an Wiki48 admin and I'm actually able to create new accounts too. I'm not able to install plug-ins or edit the source code, for example, but I have control over accounts, being able to create them, block them and delete them. As a test, I created a account for M4YUYU. It worked perfectly well, but I wanted to wait for a response from Staff to make an "official announcement" and get the first post from this thread edited, since creating accounts by myself wasn't what I talked about with Mr Waffle in the first place. Anyway, I was ignored once again. Also, I'm going to college this year and I will probably leave the forum and the Wiki around March~April. Until there, I want to create accounts to new members (If anyone decides to spam or to mess with the pages, I can block them and delete all their edits, so no problem with that) and decide new admins to take my place. I felt it was kind of "unethical" to step up by myself, but this is the best option to Wiki48 and, consequently, to the forum. So here I am So, if you want an account on Wiki48, please send me a PM or leave a message on this thread. You only need to send me (Or post) your e-mail. You can have a different username if you want to. A temporary password you be sent to your e-mail. Log-in with your username and temporary password and you can change it to your own password. Pretty simple! Edit: We are currently not accepting members without posts on the forum on Wiki48. You can introduce yourself here, if you want to, and you can also post on different threads. You will be able to have a account on Wiki48 later on. Spoiler About the message with the warning about edits (@Alya Khairunnisa Deza @zakky26 @Corris @tgsk48), thank you! I created the pages for Team T and SNH 4th Gen. There is a lot of work to do, so I hope with more users we can make things easier
A little guide to all the new members! Editing the Wiki it's pretty simple. There are pages on MediaWiki and Wikipedia that can help you. The editing it's very similar with the code we use on the forum (BBCode) and using other pages as reference (Clicking the "Edit" button on the top of the page) it's always helpful. Edit: Please check if the information you are including on the Wiki is truth, there are a lot of rumors online. Before editing new information, check the official site and/or official member's blogs. In case you have any doubts, please make a post here. A warning will be sent to you in case you include fake information on the Wiki and if this persists you will be blocked. The usual editing would be: Text Spoiler italic text (Two " ' ") and bold text (Three " "). text will create a bold and italic text. For internal links you can use "" and "". So AKB48, for example, creates a link to the "AKB48" page on the Wiki. For external links you can use "[link name]". For example, Atsuko_100. The name ("Atsuko_100") will appear on the page, and when someone clicks in it he will be sent to the link ("http://twitter.com/Atsuko_100 Atsuko_100"): Atsuko_100. Each page have "tiers". The Maeda Atsuko page, for example, has the "Units" tier (On the code it would be "== Units ==", two "=") and inside this tier there is a sub-tier, "AKBIdoling!!!" (On the code it would be "=== AKBIdoling! ===", three "=") and so goes on. Inception "*" creates a little icon, which is very good for lists. It works similar to this: A B On the code it would be: " * A * B" ":" creates a bigger empty space. We use it sometimes on concert pages. "<br/>" it's also helpful, since it doesn't create any kind of blank space (So it would be A<br/>B). <br/> will "jump a line". Also, "**" would be a "sub-item", "***" a sub-sub-item and so goes on again. Images Spoiler You can upload images on the Upload page or by dropping files from your computer on the "Drop files here" space when you edit pages (Don't forget to click "Click here to upload this file" later). This second one it's very helpful when you are uploading a large amount of pictures. A file page looks like this. If you want a small box around the picture, you can use this, for example: "thumb|250px|AKB48 (January 2015)". "AKB6thAlbum.jpg" it's the internal link, "250px" the size and "AKB48 (January 2015)" the message that you appear inside the box. If you don't want a message it would be "thumb|250px". And without the box it would be: "" Videos Spoiler We can only include YouTube videos on the Wiki. The code is "<youtube>y5jHsV7hCHY</youtube>", for example. So if Code: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5jHsV7hCHY" it's the YouTube link, for example, just copy and paste the part after the "v=". Moving Pages Spoiler When you move a page you can create a redirect to it or not. Be attentive to the small button "Leave a redirect behind" when you move a page. If you don't leave a redirect behind, the page with the old name will be deleted (Which it's good for misspellings, for example). A very helpful way to create redirects is using "#REDIRECT link". So, creating a "Warota 7" page with "#REDIRECT Watarirouka Hashiritai 7" will make this page be redirected to "Watarirouka Hashiritai 7". Categories Spoiler Most of the pages are inside categories, which is a group of pages. Oya Masana, for example, it's under 3 categories: "Team S Members", "SKE48 1st Generation" and "Aichi". Usually for members the categories include their team, their generation and their hometown. You can create new categories if you want to, of course. The code on this case is: Oya Masana should not be on the "Members" or the "SKE48" category, however. There are some "umbrella categories" ("AKB48", "Members" etc.) which only includes smaller categories - and this are the ones who include the pages. So "Oya Masana" is inside the "SKE48 Members" category, which is inside the "SKE48" and the "Members" umbrella categories. It's just for organization. For songs and singles it's usually just the group. "Doro no Metronome" it's under the "HKT48 Songs" category, for example. Templates (Team templates, Infobox, Gallery etc.) Spoiler Templates are "copied" pages. Instead of using the same code over and over again, you can create a template. The team templates are a example. All the Team A members, for example, have the "Team A" box on the end of the page. The Team A template would be "TeamA", under "". The template page itself is "Template:TeamA" and it works just like a regular page. But editing it will change all the pages who use this same template. So, instead of editing all the Team A member pages when someone is promoted, for example, you can simply edit the Team A template. Another type of template would be the editable template, like the Infobox. This ones are hard to create, but editing it's still simple. Here are the main templates from Wiki48: Infobox We use three Infoboxes. There is a larger one, who includes B/W/H measures, a simple one and one for graduated members. The simple one, for example, works like this: List with the colors: AKB48 Team A - #f576a3 Team K - #80bb18 Team B - #6db6d9 Team 4 - #FFD300 Team 8 - #0e4d9a SKE48 Team S - #ffc213 Team KII - #FE2E2E Team E - #74BEA7 NMB48 Team N - #df9732 Team M - #db4e87 Team BII - #3f74c8 HKT48 Team H - #ea6174 Team KIV - #f5a4c7 JKT48 Team J - #D61515 Team KIV - #e9d212 Team T - #8f8f8f (Temporary color) SNH48 Team SII - #94c7e6 Team NII - #ab81b7 Team HII - #f39a00 Kenkyuuseis - #8f8f8f Graduated Members - #1C1C1C Gallery Example: "Ichikawa manami.jpg" is the file and "Ichikawa Manami (2013)" the message. The other informations (Width, height etc.) are the standard, so you don't need to change them. With more than one picture it would be: There are other ways on doing the same things. It looks more complicated than it actually is, believe me. You can post here in case you have any doubts. And don't worry about making mistakes Feel free to edit the pages when you want. You only need to make a warning here in case it's a large change (Something that will change all the member pages, for example). Here's a list with some pages that need to be updated: Spoiler - Music videos for the AKB48 pages (Older singles) on the song pages - Song pages for solos and sub-units. Overall, solos and sub-units need a lot of update. - International sister groups (JKT48 and SNH48) need more information about concerts, singles, members etc. - Ranking for each song on Request Hour (AKB48 Request Hour 2015). But only the Top 200, please, not the whole thing - Update of the "Trivia" of each member (Many of them are outdated or almost don't have information), besides the height, that constantly changes it. - The "Timeline" page - Update of all the categories. AKB48 members should be on the "AKB48 Members" category, not the "Members" category, for example. - Disambiguation pages for singles. Heavy Rotation should have a redirect to "Heavy Rotation (Single)" and "Heavy Rotation (Song)", for example. Don't feel pressured to edit this pages, however. Edit them only if you want. Hope it's helpful!
Sure, I think it would be great for people who are looking for their future oshimen I can verify and add the links if somebody suggests them.
If social accounts will be needed, you can look them up here https://sites.google.com/site/akb48socialmediastats/ I also have a list of 755 accounts, but haven't done an app for them yet, so if you'll need them, just PM me
I was able to create a song page for Kono Namida wo Kimi ni Sasagu (http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Kono_namida_wo_kimi_ni_sasagu), but after trying to link it to the single's wiki page, I noticed that I'm missing the "(Song)" part of the URL... Sorry for the small mess, but could anyone advise me how to fix that?
@natsu-kun Thanks a lot for the tip! I was able to fix the links. Now my only concern is that when typing "kono namida wo kimi ni sasagu" into the seach box, it gives this page (http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Kono_namida_wo_kimi_ni_sasagu), instead of going straight to the single's page. Is there a way to fix that (ie. when searching for "Heavy Rotation", the search immediately takes me to the HR single page). Sorry for these stumblings, I'll get better and learn new things each moment! Edit: Tried to redirect the search for a second time, and I think it might've worked. The only thing I'd like to delete now is this page (http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Kono_namida_wo_kimi_ni_sasagu), since it isn't linked to or from anywhere and it'll just confuse people.
@natsu-kun Did you find out what's wrong with the page I created (http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Kono_namida_wo_kimi_ni_sasagu)? Earlier today I tried to delete it by erasing all data from that page, but as I thought, it couldn't be deleted that way. Maybe an admin could delete it?
If you want to redirect something add the code #REDIRECT PAGE YOU WANT TO REDIRECT TO or to delete a page type and then one of the admins will delete the page for you Also, just a bit OCD on my side, could you put capitals when making pages so - Kono Namida wo Kimi ni Sasagu - it looks nicer (assuming you know not to put capitals for particles)
Thanks a lot for the tip! Modified the page to the "delete category" just now. If I make new pages in the future, I surely won't make this same mistake again. Ah, about why I first created the page without capitals - I thought the best way to create the song page was to type it to the search box, and when it gave me the "the page doesn't exist" result, I clicked the "create page" link in that view. Of course, it was only after that when I noticed that there was a cleaner and more efficient way of creating such a page... So the non-capital name for the page came from my un-educated trial with the search function (typed the song name then without capitals). Here's the page I created after my first attempt (http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Kono_Namida_wo_Kimi_ni_Sasagu_(Song)).
Moving pages can be messy sometimes, no problem with that I just deleted the page. @obakechan @Kuura About the capitals. Yes, it's very annoying. The only solution I think about would be creating several redirects (For example, title with no capitals > title with capitals) and having some sort of standard. Having the capitals makes the pages look nicer but it gets confusing sometimes. The only method I have it's that bigger words have a capital letter at the beggining haha But we can change that, of course. We could create more redirects too. @natsu-kun Oh, the templates. The team ones are pretty easy to edit, they are just a regular page. The template only "copies" this same page. Some templates like the Infobox are easy to edit, but very hard to create (I can't create one from scratch, personally). Anyway, I will make a small tutorial later about all of that I will also update the "Categories" with some more details about sub-categories and this sort of stuff. @Nguyen Diep Thanh Tung Done. Thank you for the interest!
hey, just a tip, about the creating song page thing, you only count a girl as graduated when she already graduated at the time of the song's release (ala Acchan in Team Surprise), if she was still in the group when the song was released, she'll still be counted as a team member also the teams the girls are in are at the time of the song's release, obviously Paruru wasn't in Team A when Hatsukoi wa Minoranai was released eh (2011),
