Single AKB48 38th [Kibouteki Refrain] (2014/11/26)

I asked my friend who went as extra today. Seems like there will be some mix in formation.
The 32 members are separated into 3 separated group it seems. Each has no 1, no 2, until no 3. I think the concept will just be like in Manatsu no Sounds Good. Still not sure how it will turns out, but here are members list for each slot

As far as he can see, there are four rows in the 32 members scene. Jurichan got the 3rd row. Well, not that bad I guess

Makes me even more glad Milky got the solo single...she's a lot bigger than back row.

At first I was kinda disappointed why the single isn't badass cool type but since the composer is Inoue Yoshimasa I believe in him

 

All this info makes me super excited for this single~ I really like the music from Iiwake Maybe times and I dunno about you guys but I loved Suzukake Nanchara too so I'm very excited about this type of song. Hopefully it will be something new for concerts.

 

I'm excited to see a performance of it. I'm hoping at Music Station but if not then it can wait.

The ranking in the election only matters for one single (unless it's something as impressive as Sakura's jump or Madoka's appearance straight into UG).

So the media senbatsu would be...

Kizaki, Yokoyama, Kawaei, Iriyama, Ikoma, Suda
Sashihara, Rena, Takamina, Kojiharu, Sayanee, Kashiwagi
Jurina, Mayu, Sakura, Paruru

Can't believe they kicked Miichan from it (about time though).

I'm liking the dance formation, hopefully it's true. even if I wish they'd find a way to include one new gen like Mako, but well it still looks good. with 4 girls for the first row, it looks like Sayonara Crawl. If it's true then I'm really glad they have Paruru on first row. If not center, it's the best she can get (for now ;D). also, I'm loving the right side members, with Sakura, Paruru then Sayanee, Yukirin. It's perfect! I hope this formation is the real one.

 

I also read that this group has a different costume. Not sure if it's a different color or entirely different style.
And the centers Mayu-Sakura would be holding golden mics.

And besides Jyuuryoku, Iiwake, Suzukake, this song has also been compared to First Rabbit, which is one of my favorite songs!

 

Im butthurt that Ikoma is in the media senbatsu but Milky isnt*sobs*

can't wait to listen to ful audio! sad for Milky not being out from the 16 senbatsu ,i think they can put her instead of Ikoma (i still don't get her kennin if her group supose to be AKB's rival group - means nogi46 is official a sister group now? )

I could see something like...

Miichan, Tano, Ikumin, Ryoka, Tomu, Sae
Haruppi, Sayaya, Naanya, Miion, Shiroma, Madoka
Milky, Kojimako, Renacchi, Juri

As much as I'd love Ikumin rocking her center abilities, I don't see it happening at the moment.

We haven't seen the outfits.

 

I saw a rumor on twitter that Mako and Haruppi were centering the second verse.
I hope Tanochan won't be to far on the back *praying*

 

Well, Rena has been getting frontline senbatsu spots in Nogizaka so i guess they have to treat Ikoma fairly too. As for Milky, she has her solo debut going on anyways so it may be more practical to push another member.

If we compare the Labrador Retriever senbatsu to this one, both of which are management chosen:
Out-- Milky, Miichan
In--Sakura, Ikoma

As for the frontline spots:
Out --Sasshi
Remain--Mayu, Jurina
In--Sakura, Paruru

 

Well, it would make sense to continue the Haru-push.
I just hope Renacchi and Juri are on the first row too.

BTW, half of the media senbatsu is now "new" gen! By the end of next year it might be even newer.

 

Althrough Milky drop from media-senbatsu, I guess Milky will be center in the 2nd senbatsu/3-4 row. at least I could see the favorite member of management after shuffle and the future senbatsu in the next singles if they make 16-nin senbatsu again.

 

I, for one, am glad that the song is more in the line of Iiwake, Suzukake, etc than Beginner or Uza. I miss those old-school songs. Actually, I would love it more if we get another upbeat song in the same level as that of Poniteru, Hebirote and Furage.

ABOUT TIME! Should have happened years ago.

 

I think this single sounds good from that audio! I'm beginning to allow myself to hope lol
