I like the pv because my two oshi get so much spotlight
But yeah the song still didn't do justice
Play the song when you feel sleepy in the next minute you will fall asleep lol
Looking forward to the b sides
Team 8 song has already been good

The PV actually made the song more enjoyable.
Though Be my Baby was definitely the superior MV

Still a downgrade, but I don't dislike it as much as I thought I would

 

Tbh, this is the kind of song that I would enjoy while sitting inside a bus, but I can see that I would only spam my ears with the refrain since the rest of the song did not really stick in my mind. The MV has such a nice theme tho and it helps me to enjoy the song more.

 

Yup, that's Aki-P being Aki-P, trying to cover his with a "positive" song and a socially conscious PV. Tons of plastic will be dumped in others' habitat. He is literally creating garbage. At least he has the decency to not write a song about being environmentally friendly

People like different kinds of songs; it's all subjective. What bothers me is that I can't even see the effort in trying to make this song good. It is just bland in every aspect. Yes, people will buy the CD for the tickets, but as a producer, I hope he has the integrity to put some effort into the songs so they are worth buying.

 

This reminds me of So Long! and the stink people raised over that.

Idols and attempts at "high art" just don't mix I guess.

 

I think people simply want EDM nowadays.

 

Swap Sayanee for Jurina and nothing about that statement changes, except the period of time it's been happening. I can let it slide for a 48G-single, though.

Japan's music market is the 2nd biggest in the world, only losing to the US. Korea's music market is tiny in comparison. It even lags behind that of Canada, Australia, France, Germany and the UK. That's why Kpop groups try their hand at promoting in Japan, and try harder at grabbing an international audience through YouTube, subbed content, etc. They need all the help they can get.

Reality shows like Produce 101 will never become popular in the West. They don't even air during prime-time in their own country. It's actually quite funny that you mentioned Produce 101 because that show is basically AKB's SSK, but without the years of history and with free voting. Produce 101, along with SM Entertainment's new boy group NCT having a similar concept to 48G suggests that Kpop is beginning to get some of their ideas from Jpop. So what is AKB doing? Setting some trends it seems...

I don't think most people realize Japan's music industry is 75% of Asia.

You pull every single Asian music scene together, China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, this and that... And they'll barely reach 1/3 of Japan.
And yes... Literally.

 

some peoples thought NCT copying AKB bc they have 40 member (rotated system, basically like senbatsu) wich include sub group in other countries like japan, thai, and china. And with that, bc NCT have many members like AKB, and they also have sub group in other countries like AKB, so they think its similiar concept with AKB. Wich imo they who have that kind of statement are just didnt understands about NCT, and especially SM ent. One thing, the fact that even bfore akip create sub-group outside japan or even in japan itself, LSM was already one step ahead with inventing a sub group in china called super junior M. and even long before that, bfore AKB was created, SM ent was already expanding their international market with TVXQ. so for me, i dont rlly get the idea of "NCT was copying AKB", and in contrast, perhaps its AKB who steals SM idea with creating and promoting their groups outside japan aka international market. (they announce BNK48 after NCT stated to be also have sub-group in thailand)

I just dont understands, i'm kpopers too, but i never brought all those thingy thing about kpop to AKB or jpop, they are different, like exactly different. and imo thus peoples who cares about those differencies, i think they're just new to jpop or kpop, or if not.. then maybe they just lack of acknowledge about kpop or jpop.

In every season, every artist tries to match the song with the season (or something like that) but no, individual's style wont change with the season. And i think that's the reason why they make something you all said "Not match for the season" or things like that. Btw i loved mellow sad songs and i will never change my style nevertheless the season

the only complain for me is the make up, super thick for school girl
