Single AKB48 44th [Tsubasa wa Iranai] (2016/06/01)

I set a low expectation regarding the dance & I think the dance is acceptable..though the chair will forever be a mystery to me.. I saw some of the girls were bumping into each other..
The outfit is much better than the MV one, so I guess it was okay..
Paru was enjoying herself so that's the only point for me..

I wonder what the general public think of this song.. cuz u know, sometimes we as fan like the song but not general public.. maybe this song is what the japanese like? just wondering..
hopefully next single is better..

 

if sayanee voice occupied most part of the song and if there is a highlight when she'll sing in highnote, i believe general public would love this song. afterall a ballad song need to be supported with a decent vocal, and what i can see from this song, tho for me its quite enjoyable song, there's still lack of decent vocal.

I'm okay with the dance, its not like they'll get anywehere with a decent dance. except they'll have EXO-like choreography lol.

 

Well, Naachan wears the one with yellow inside and Yukirin and Mayuyu doesn't.

 

Can't believe I'm gonna say this....

Even the Takamina "Baby" single was better in EVERY way than this friggin' thing. I'll be honest - I didn't entirely dislike Takamina's song- It just screamed TAKAMINA too much, so now if I hear it or see it performed WITHOUT HER- I might actually hear it with UnJaded Ears.

What is happening in AKB48 land is similar to the Mess that they've only started to "Clean-Up" in the DC comics universe. a Mistake that lasted around 2 YEARS & burned Many Bridges alienated Many "Core fans"- 1/2 (or more?) will possibly never return.

Is AKB48 in NEED of a DC comics style "Rebirth"??

AKI- P took something everyone "loved" & expected...then flushed it & mutated it into something "RETRO" (or Ego-Centric) and thought the Fans would just 'Eat it Up'. But...it seems people are NOT pleased. I think this goes was deeper than scrapping the "Bikini single".

In Short- DC Comics scrapped ALL it's continuity & History & just started over...only this time "Progressive" (Political Correct?) or just plain Weird or Post Modern- basically whatever the Writer "wanted to try"...basically telling ALL those who grew-up with or collected the pasted stories- YOU Do NOT Matter, THIS is the "New 52" (the New Universe). In Short in about 2 years- Sales plummeted, Books were canceled, & FANS overwhelming "Moved On" to other Pursuits... DC had to openly SCRAP the Entire Project & Bring ALL the Old Stuff BACK! (the new Rebirth)

They Had to #1 apologize (to fans) #2 Fix the Prob and #3 Gain the Trust the Squandered.... AKB48 still hasn't hit the "Oohh, We Screwed Up??" phase yet... AKB48 has allowed USA to be cut off via it's YouTube channel. They refuse to throw anything "meaningful" at the New Gens (unless you're a Sister Group) and 1/2 the names that people recognize didn't even feel like doing the Election (The biggest "Cash Group" of Your Entire Year). What fans to think?

Time moves "fast" for Idols. Can anyone except a hardcore AKB fan name anything Team 4 has done? NOTHING has changed since this point in 2015. Nothing. AKI-P wasted an ENTIRE Year of these girls lives for what?? A Halloween Disco song, Takamina's Ego Center, & a Homage to 4 girls who already LEFT the Group! and what's the 4th Offering?? A new Gen slapped into a 70's Protest Song?- When is "memory lane" gonna end? Is he afraid of the Future??

Lastly- The song isn't even that 'Great'. It's very "Folkie" & just passes thru your ear much like the way cotton-candy evaporates the moment your tongue touches it- sweet for 1-2 seconds...then WHOOSH, where'd go? I find it VERY hard to believe ALL the trails & sacrifices this group did between 2007-2010 (11?) were so the group could become this giant bloated whore w/ 5 sisters & phoning in a Folk song as it's Signature Money-Making song.

I'm seriously going to laugh if the sales on this single are "Less than average"- DESPITE the election & gimmicks. I can't be the only one who wants to scream at ANYONE "in Power" at AKB48 & say "What are you doing STUPID??" - This is NOT Rocket Science. Can anyone tell me if the Japanese are 'really into this?'- I remember seeing AKB48 doing multiple "LIVES" on TV for their songs....that seems to be lessened dramatically. What is it going to take to make AKB48 "exciting" & Modern & FRESH again??

Pardon the 'rant'- but this song is probably the worst one ever for me. I really want to like it- It just doesn't even sound "pretty"...it's like a camp fire song you kinda half-ass hum to & wonder how the hell the other people know how it goes. Green Flash, So Long, are GEMS compared to this.

I'm Seriously "worried". If this election doesn't have some "exciting" reveals (Grad announcements?) New Stages? New Group "Directions"?, or a Flat Out APOLOGY for wasting my time this past year...I honestly think AKB is writing itself into the sunset. I honestly think it's too late to "Start Over" and Paruru & Yui can't make ANY "meaningful" changes because Management controls the purse & the brand. I think it's a Goose-Chase. Soon Mayu, Sasshi, Yukirin, & who else?? will Grad...More trips to the PAST!!!! KomiHaru will be in college & graduated by then....But Koji-Haru & Geesh will still be in AKB48.

All the senbatsu members are not there. Paruru aside, there is also 16 other members in senbatsu not present in that image. The song has a 32nin senbatsu.

What you are looking at is what some call the media senbatsu, minus one.

 

I agree with you, I think T4 is underpushed despite being the most pushable. I thought naachan/everyone in T4 that is in TwI wont be a part of the upper senbatsu because I was already expecting for T4 having no senbatsu representative (I dont know if it's only me but I hope naachan is not only getting pushed because they need a 2nd Sae )

TwI: just like team 4 - something with potential (summer single + line-up + ssk tix) but they didnt use it to its full potential

sometimes I wish they could have double a-sides. one with the main senbatsu and the second one will only be Jisedai only

 

Well, as I'm still not happy that we don't have a summer single again, I'll try to be less negative as possible hahahahahaha the girls look amazing. God bless Mayu, she is looking absolutly divine!!!!!!

KnBmB should've been a double A-side, I don't understand what was going through management's head. Then again KnBmB shouldn't have been an A-side at all. 365 would've been much more strategic.

 

#offtopicBTW wow finally i found someone mentioned GUGUTASU NO SORA ... one of the best coupling single EVER in AKB48Group History ... i love the song, the dance routine and everything about the song

TwI's outfits are okay (the yellow x-x) and the choreo is okay, but BwT was way ahead.

 

Love the song. The MV is great. The screentime for everyone is way better than in the past. Good to see that Paruru also performed on the catwalk instead of sitting on this chair. The only thing I think is strange is this move down on the catwalk from Myao and Yuihan xD
