LOL... they will land the barge full of STU48 members there. The party will be on the STU48 barge.

 

It's a weekend, so some people will already have time off. People work on weekends, but they'd still need to take time off if the event was in Tokyo so it's not much of a difference. Those who go will go, those who can't won't. I'm thankful they're moving it around more - Tokyo and Osaka don't need every event in the country. Not everyone can travel to Tokyo for the same reasons people from Tokyo can't go outbound.

Okinawa is a pretty popular destination so it isn't surprising. It's a refreshing atmosphere. As someone who lives in Shikoku this is MUCH more convenient for me and I'll actually try to get tickets, unlike last year. With STU starting up with its tourism sponsers, it makes sense to bring the election down south. Also, the more events you have in a variety of places means more people are able to become fans and actually attend and get invested in the group - keeping it in Tokyo and the surrounds only makes a lot of people just not bother.

 

I guess the main reasons for having it in Tokyo would be

1. Having the bulk of the national media on your doorstep.
2. Acchan and Tomochin turning up drunk backstage.

 

Are Keyakizaka46 members allowed to participate? Also, how can International people buy tickets?

 

The only member from the Sakamichi groups that has been allowed to participate ever was Ikomachan and that's because she had a Kennin with Team B o__ó They are not by any measures eligible to participate otherwise.

I hope next year sousenkyo will be in Hokkaido. Summer in Hokkaido is about 22 celcius, cooler comparing to temperature to the rest of Japan.

She's the only remaining kaigai now...

 

Concerns raised by Japanese Netizens:

Mid-June is a rainy season
There are often Typhoons after June so risk of flight cancels
It's usually 30°C around June, high risk of heat stroke
Worries there are no covers for the audiences
Naha airport is really close hence there will be heavy noise pollution
