Event / Concert AKB48 LIVE IN NEW YORK - 2009/09/26 - 27

To be honest I only planned on buying a ticket for Saturday as well, since AKB48 is only going to be at the actual convention that day. I think I'll wait until they post the details about the Webster Hall concert to do anything.

 

If you're going to NYC and want to represent (as a group) I can take orders for the AKB Shirt I'll give you upon our meeting in NYC. I can not confirm the quality of the shirt (meaning the printing quality) but it should be enough to survive a few washings before fading.

NYC is my hometown so I'm more than willing to give everyone the grand tour when we're not at the concert. I'll bring you to Kinokuniya, Asahiya, the Japanese Restaurant District to eat Ramen, Takoyaki, Udon, Okonomiyaki.. whatever you want.

By the way.. there has been research going into this shirt:
A, B and 4 MTA Subway Lines are all working lines in Manhattan.
K Subway Line is a Train Line currently under construction.
8 Subway Line was discontinued in 1920.



No profits are being made from this, but I need to order in a few days so I can make sure it comes in from the factory in time (Travel time appox. 2 weeks).

I can also supply the artwork if you have a place you can do it yourself. (More on that below)

AKB48 Shirt was inspired by our official MTA Goods:

 

They look pretty small. I'm not a convention pundit, but is that the best best logistics they could provide?
Looking back at Japan Expo, the J.E. Live House had a capacity about 7000 people or something. Now it makes sense AKB had been hovering over confirming their appearance at NYAF for so long.

Does anyone know which teams/members will be present in this Anime Festival ?

'Cause for the Japan Expo, they first announced Team A and it was finally a mix of teams without the "heads" of the band (I don't like to use this expression but it sums up the situation).

I asked that 'cause you know I went to the JE and so I could see well "lower front girls" who came there. And as New York is basically far from my country, only girls like Tomochin, Haruna, Tomochin, Takamina, Tomochin, Acchan and Tomochin could decide me to take a plane, 'cause I've already seen Miichan, Meetan, Sayaka, etc. ^^
