It depends on the girl. Some might want to go back to school, the older ones might be thinking about marriage. Or others just don't want to live the idol life anymore.
Graduated members: Usami Yuki → MC (http://blog.goo.ne.jp/usmyk) Uemura Ayako → ? Orii Ayumi → actress Imai Yu → actress Takada Ayana → go back to hometown and work there. Hoshino Michiru → singer-songwriter Usami, Orii, Imai, and Hoshino still belong to Office48.
I just saw this addition on YesAsia: http://global.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/code-j/section-posters/pid-1004905105/ I'm happy to know it's gonna be out soon, of course, but what's the difference between a "book" and a "fanbook" in this case here?
^ they graduated, not quited. Also, the idea of "Graduation" is made by "Akimoto Yasushi" first, not "Tsunku"
that is an old girlband? I thought Tsunku/UFA took the idea from an american idol group read somewhere
... is an old idol group. No. Tsunku took all ideas from Akimoto; such as "graduation/new member system", "audition system", "shuffle group idea", and so on.
They ae not really "band". you know. Anyway, Akimoto is not only famous for idol things but also famous for lots of things. He wrote lots of great songs; epecially, the most famous one is "Kawa no Nagare no You ni" which is the best "Enka" song ever. And almost all Japanese people know this song. He is also a good writer. Do you know "Chakushin Ari"? And he is also a producer of popular TV shows, such as "Utaban". no
Akimoto (Yasushi) is the man All these idol groups showed up waay before American Idol. American Idol started in 2002. Onyanko Club started in 1985. And Tsunku's first idol group, Morning Musume, was created in 1997. So if anything, the Americans would be the ones stealing ideas from the Japanese. Just like how they stole the movie "Ju-on" and made it their own (The Grudge).
I mean, even spicegirl was called as girlband and, umn.. I dunno what Chakushin Ari is. can you tell me more about Onyanko Club more? because umn... I hope AKB48 will last long and not ended up as Onyanko CLub *I never heard about this group before* are they the singer of the song that canary club covered?
Akimoto is always looking for new things, meaning he changes his interest so quickly. So I don't think AKB48 lasts long.
it is unrelated but can I know the list of things that Akimoto has done? at first I speechless but I really hope that AKB will last long maybe not as AKB but as other groups but still in big family like H!P
