The single have Showa-style idol vibes, seem good for me to follow the promising girlgroup.

BLUEBERRY SODA 'Tenshi ga Toru' Release Commemorative Event - Tower Records Kinshicho Parco store 5/2

The group's debut release is timed perfectly for my current visit to Japan and this week there's a series of 3 meet and signing events across Tokyo. The first of these took place this evening and as it was the most convenient for me I took part in it. (Kinshicho is only 3 stops east of Akihabara on the Sobu railway line.)

I arrived at the store about 30 minutes before the start time and I spotted this display for the new release:



Just out of view behind it is the stores event space where tonight's signing took place. For every disk bought you received one ticket for the signing. I had to write my name on the ticket in Katakana as Romaji wasn't allowed.

When the start time came the members all appeared and introduced themselves. Sara was first in the line and each time she took a card pre-signed by the members and wrote the customer's name on it. You then got to speak briefly with the other 6 members together. This my card (with my copy of the CD a day early before release):



I told the other 6 in Japanese that I'm visiting Japan from England and I wished them 'ganbatte' with the new release. However Ai and Yuri who were the last two members in the line weren't quite finished with me. They wanted to know if I was really from England so I said yes and I hoped they could come to a Japanese matsuri in London, but hopefully they didn't take that as a formal invitation!

That was a very nice event for me and yet more good idol-related fun this week!

Is that it for them, are they no longer active anymore? Their YouTube doesn't seem to get updated. I don't think they ever had an official website either?
