Yeah, the AKB girls are pretty "normal" sized.

They have to be careful when putting them on TV, because you see how much bigger they are than the standard TV personalities and models. I remember during the holidays where Akimoto Sayaka's legs were like 3 times thicker than Becky's legs. Kinda mind-blowing.

But yeah, boner medicine in that photobook. Don't really find AKB photo mags and books arousing, but looks like that's what they were going for with this one.

 

I like the first hand bra image more than the second one. The first one had more artistry on it than the 2nd one. It had all sorts of stuff going on with it, symetry, lighting, symbolism etc, while the second one was just showing more boob (teasing the viewer onto trying to spot something that was probably photoshopped clean anyways).

Well of course it does. But since it's Maeda and not who needs a lot more exposure, and with consideration to the type of exposure AKB wants to attract, the book would contain a broader range of types of "pulls" to cater to a broader spectrum of viewers unlike say, a model whose sole purpose was to be onanized on. Acchan's would be something that one wouldn't be too embarassed with, if left out in the open in comparison.

But that's not too far from the edge/ limitations of what they'd go for (unless they go for a career change ). I really do not want to see "everyone" doing PBs in AKB to have the need to do such "stage" in their careers.

If AKB was purely just to rock my jollies, I'd rather watch/read porn then.
(Really, too many pages with clothes on for that imo =P)

Aw man, too much information.

I didn't mean it like that, I meant as in like AKB's priority is how the girls look, the thing that comes second is their voice. and most people know or start to like AKB because... well, the girls are adorably cute!

I felt the exact same way when I looked at the book. Sure, she has a beautiful body, but I don't think she needs to expose herself like that to get fans. I worry that she will move on to more adult themes and wander away from the things that truly make her great like her singing and acting. I hope she doesn't blemish that "good girl next door" view too much more. When I look at the pics, her facial expressions in the more revealing photos just make me feel sad. She looks sad, and I much prefer to see her smiling and laughing. That's where her "clumsy" personality really shines and I love it. None-the-less, I did purchase the photobook as it has amazing photos and I truly want to support her. She is my kami-oshi afterall.

BTW, is there a reason that there are some photos in the magazine previews, that weren't in the photobook?
