^ I don't think it's fair to blame the fans at this point.

From what I can see in the post above, and after a trip to Tower Records myself tonight, the shelves seem pretty bare. There were only 3-4 copies left when I was there. When I picked up Milky's, the shelves were packed.

Also IIRC, Milky's release had two versions, as well as a special promotion at one of the handshake events (theater edition, not national).

Sounds more like a conservative print run to me.

 

omg I totally forgot Milky got two versions...why they didn't do a special version for Nana too? Like I'd still buy the Regular Edition cause it comes with the photo's, but that's unfortunate~~

 

Being within the Top 10 is still good, even though she's not selling that much compared to Milky on the first few days of sales.

I wasn't able to hear a preview of the song until now, but yeah, I agree with most people about the autotune. She would have sounded so much better without it.

 

Agreed with this. On 2ch they were confirming that most Tower records were sold out.

Also, the events were pretty conservative - I don't think management was expecting her to really be able to do anything.

oh wow~ it's actually a lot lower than I thought~ It really is a great single tho

 

That's actually quite good. For a non-senbatsu member with very limited events, that's actually much more than I expected.

 

the 1st week sales was better than i expected and ranked 10th place is not bad at all. (with very little promotion).

I wish the management could do a bit more PR in AKBingo, AKB48 show or even appear in Ariyoshi to promote Nana's single.

 

It's shameful how little they thought of Nana to not give her proper promotion~

I hope we will see this month (tho i do remember she performed it on kouhaku)
