Yeah...it really doesn’t make sense.

They’re going to privately scout(??) girls for the 1st gen but have another open audition just for those to be sent to a PD rip off?? First of all, why the hell will they need to go to a PD rip off.

 

No. Rumors say they send some 1st gen girls to the show. They always want to hold open auditions to find raw girls and to make headlines but they have to postpone it because of some unknown reasons.

 

I'm quite curious about that "unknown reason"

 

The Produce101 show the AKB China girls (and the SNH girls) are rumored to take part in is not a rip off, it's the official, M-net approved Chinese version of the show.
There is a Chinese rip off of the show though and it's currently airing (with male trainees).

 

AKB48 China trainees - Mao WeiJia and Liu Nian participate in Produce 101 China. They are filming ep 1 today.

 

when will they announce the 1st gen?

 

Still no news, only some rumors that they will debut at the end of this year so maybe they will be revealed before that time.

It is a new sister group, not a unit. AKS confirmed it last year.

Seifuku is really nice and 48 style.

How can they have members participating on a TV show and still have to announce who the members are? lol

 

I guess they're introducing them through the show? That's kind of the concept of Produce101 anyway. Those must be the "aces" or something. I don't really mind the idea of the group being trained and groomed on the down low before being debuted. SNH had a lot of issues with their first gen, like half of them resigned within the first year.

I'm kinda curious about the AKB China girls so maybe I'll check out P101 China when it airs.

 

I guess that makes sense.
When does this premiere? If they are smart, they should announce the 1st gen when the first episodes air.

On another note I’m mad they only sent 2 girls Should have sent 7 or something like that

 

They sent 3 girls but the 3rd girl left the company before filming ep 1.
