DH's plan was always to dissolve Teams A, K, B and 4 and keep Eito, but they knew that the feedback from AKB4 fans would be massively negative, therefore they decided to put Eito "on hiatus" months before announcing they were getting rid of the other teams. Now eitos are still working together as a team even though under the name of AKB.

She didn't want to have anything to do with Nagi...
    ... after reading @David61 's latest post.

But judging from the lineup there must be a senbatsu job that day and Shitao is included.

    Oh no...

She should bring the senbatsu to Tochigi instead lol

Anyway, AKB48 will participate in [IDOL SQUARE SummerFestival 2023] on July 17
(Mods pls don't kill me I'm just testing if this is a good way to upload thumbnailed pic)
Place? The same KT Zepp Yokohama again [hehe]

Is this the new Shibuya-AX or TDC Hall? haha

For reference, in 2022 AKB48 also participated in IdolSquare:

As if this whole thing wasn't dumb enough already, it wasn't even AKB48.

Isn't it the same for international idol groups such as JKT and BNK tho? Pretty sure they have explained the rules that idols aren't allowed to take photos outside of pre-arranged settings (e.g. 2-shot slots at handshakes).

It looks like an example of entitlement, "I'm famous, so I should be able to make some pics with you!" (even though they probably have no idea who this was, I sure don't)
But without someone transcribing what she said I just have to go by the face she makes, which to be honest doesn't look good
(I could have asked my dad who spoke Indonesian, but sadly he passed away in Februari)

anyway most likely just a storm in a glass of water
(and got the tiktok account the click it wanted)

btw, being denied making a pic, then posting a video where we can see the girls ... I guess you're kinda tone deaf
(in a country where they will always blur faces to protect the privacy of the people in the shot)

As @dutchie pointed out, Japan is known for its strict privacy policy, even TV and general public has to blur people's faces who doesnt give consent to being photographed/recorded.

This means whatever that bimbo is doing is not only rude, but also law-breaking.

Also why is she making faces and giving diva vibe? Lol. Sorry she doesnt have that x factor

What do idols do with the flower bouquets that they usually receive after filming ? Do they really bring it home, or it gets thrown away ?

As you were aware, Tenkaichi HADO-kai will continue but now with a new name: AKB48 Chou Tenkaichi HADO-kai (AKB48 Super Tenkaichi HADO-kai).

But instead of being a confrontation between teams they will defend the colours of their generations.

I think Team Sayonara Janakatta would fit better as the name of this team

Every 48G member (or former member) on the chart either increase her ranking or remained steady. I'd say that's good? Of course I don't know who fell off, if anyone.

Personal feedback after 1 month or so since AKB48 arrived on Weverse

I have mixed feelings for now.
It's surely a great tool for fans and especially for those from oversea, it's translating feature is really usefull (assuming it's accurate)
There are tons of contents from the fans, lots of comments. K-pop influence really shows, with people asking how AKb484 works all the time, and without surprise Hitomi being the most talked about.
Just some are not afraid to post all and anything, not bothered to post not so legal contents (found a full performance from youtube), or are not afraid to ask where to find english subtittles
/conspiracy theory: the management use those to hunt unauthorized.

There has to deal from time to time with whoever who just comes in to only advertise it's favorite artist community. It's not too much spammy though ,the moderating seems to work fast when needed.

Just after 1 month, it's still the senbatsu members only wo can post, and I can't say the girls are exactly active to send messages. Most so far only posted their mandatory welcome message, and they as a whole don't even post 1 message per day. Even Hitomi doesn't post that much. I have the feeling they all use their social medias they are used to more.
(As if today it's the management who posted the most messages, in less than a week)
A drawback of a service which overlaps a lot whith everything that allready exists though.

The management uses it too (see above), but no anouncements were made there so far. all the latest one arrived on the official site / other sns.

The media section is messy at best.
Only the songs from Doushitemo are sorted. and all the other are in the same section, it's like a pile quicly stored a drawer that will be forgoten in a corner.

So for now, it's like another fan place to talk, but more limited (than here), not exactly a game changer. That may change, can't say at the moment.

No idea about the DM feature since I don't use it.

A good tool for fan interaction, so you can go for it. but nothing essential.
