^Ah, thank you. I think it's "Ripopo." Actually, I had to do really investigative searching skills because if you just search "Ripopo," nothing says what her real name is. It's Kotani Riho, for future searchers.

And yes, Nakajima Saki is in C-ute.

 

Sorry to come back to the "seeing a show" subject, but how do you know that you won a ticket for the show you applied for ? Do you receive an e-mail ? And if yes, how much time before the show ?

usually a couple of days before, you can check on the website too. If you haven't received an email by show day, then you didn't win.

Janken tournament.

 

Seems they've updated Team N's photos on site. They haven't updated the KKS's however so poor Ayanyan's photo is still awful. Poor girl, the photo makes her look so odd. She's actually really pretty in person.

Team KKS first stage starts on August 13th.. I leave Japan 5 days Later So I've applied. hopefully I'll get a chance to catch it before I leave.

Daaamn, that's pretty sad, she doesn't even have her own thread (and imprint on s48) and she's in danger of getting fired.

For her sake, that'd better be before she joined...

yes. that photo was from her pre-NMB time. purikura taken and upload to her blog on sept 2010.
but did you remember with what happened to ishiguro atsuki?? (same case, purikura taken before she became an AKB member) and she graduated (fired) after that.

and from some source that i got, looks like they still a couple until now.
someone said that her boyfriend always leave a comment on NMB blog everytime shimada rena post an entry.

Looks like it. I feel sorry for any of the girls in the past that have gone through this and then have gotten kicked out. Apparently they don't care anymore.

Also: are people still able to get 'two shots'?

Can't say I really care what they do in there private live, as long as it does not interfere with the public part or reflects really bad on AKB in general.
This picture to me doesn't reflect badly.

I think because of the peak in popularity AKB has right now, they probably have much more say in whether they can keep girls or not. Back when Ayarin fired, it was at a time where AKB really had to look after it's image in order to keep increasing their popularity so firing her was probably the only option. However now AKBs popularity is huge and they have a massive influence on the idol/music industry, as we can see from the number of copy cat groups, it's possible that they're using their influence to change this rule within the idol world. The fact that they took Ayarin back, makes me think that firing her wasn't really what they wanted to do (possibly they weren't even that bothered) but more what they had to do at the time due to what was expected of them. The statement regarding the recent boyfriend incident seems to me like a 'yeah this is her, with a boy. So what?'. Maybe just maybe, this is the beginning of a change within the idol world, maybe not an abolition of the boyfriend rule completely but maybe the start of relaxing it a bit? I've always had the feeling they wanted to, but never had the power to do it.

But that's just how I see it...

Looks like Shimada dodged a bullet, despite her bad decisions so far, but how much longer does she have, I wonder? Would like to see her make senbatsu for the 24th single just for how potentially awkward it might be.

So far, Otani Riko's my oshi for 2nd gen NMB KKS.
