It's much more likely the case that i haven't been following 8th gen enough to know how popular they are, but isn't this a bit unfair to them? i feel like 7ki's are much more known now and will definitely win this if it's by fan votes?

Yukino and Mako-chi seem to be very popular among fans and also good at variety. Matsuoka Sakura was able to take first in a recent showroom event that had 7th and 8th gens competing

All 3 mentioned are also very athletic so any event involving dexterity with be to their advantage (and luck, Aika seems to have terrible luck) but if it is all fan votes then, yeah, its a toss up.

2022/10/28 Quiz Tensai Ashita wa Seiten
with Kuroda Fuuwa, Sakata Misaki, Izumi Ayano, Yamamoto Mikana




I watched this show and it was really fun I mostly wanted to watch it for Sakatan since I love her and she's my NMB oshi, but I also like the other girls here like Mikana and Fuuwa, and Aanon is nice too of course! lol. I love how even though Sakatan is the new gen here, but she did most of the talking for the intro and explanations ^^ She is good at this! They did a quiz with the theme of weather, it's cute. The girls did well overall and won a lot, the prizes were candies for the easier questions, fruits for the more difficult ones, and Starbucks for the really difficult ones. Each one of them had to pick 4 questions and at the end they had a bonus question to win one of the fruits prize that they couldn't win before. Btw only one of very difficult question was answered correctly, by Sakatan ^^ I love how she really wanted to get the right answer for one of the difficult questions and she did it :3

Overall the girls were all cute and fun, even though I didn't understand the questions most of the time (lol) but some of the answers were funny and also the little punishments. That part when the staff put that tissue(?) on Sakatan's neck suddenly and she was all confused/scared XD I took a lot of Sakatan screenshots, I'll post them in her thread

 

2022/10/25 NMB48 Werewolf Sixteen Demons




I watched this show recently! it's with 8th gen members (not all of them, the younger ones aren't here) playing the werewolf game and Aipi (7th gen) is here to do present the game. it's with zoom sadly and there are some sound issues especially for Aipi... I thought we were done with zoom shows but I guess not really ._. anyway, once you get into the game, you forget about it and it's enjoyable. it gets more entertaining to watch as the game progresses! I actually don't really know how all the roles are called in this game and there are a lot of different roles so I was a little confused at first ^^; So the roles are: 3 villagers, 2 werewolves, 1 person who can know the identity of another player (once by "day"), 1 person who can know the identity of the eliminated player, 1 person who can save another player, and 1 person who's like a fake villager. I'll write my opinions under spoiler since it reveals the roles lol

For the first game, the werewolves were Ayapyon and Hono. I thought they did a pretty good job especially Hono pretending to be the savior (after the real savior was eliminated early in the game, it was Yayoi). Sakatan was the person who can ask the identity of a player for each "day", it was so funny because she always suspected the wrong person, like 3 times, they were all innocent XD I love her big reactions each time haha. well I guess this still helped her though, at least she knew who wasn't a werewolf lol. Btw Pikarun was pretty good because she started suspecting Ayapyon and Hono already early in the game and she was right!

For the second game, it went faster, the werewolves were Sakatan and Pikarun. I could see the change of behavior from both of them lol! Pikarun didn't look comfortable and Sakatan was moving a lot, haha. The other girls suspected Pikarun really fast and eliminated her, and Sakatan was the only one who didn't vote Pikarun out so she got suspected too. I think Sakatan made a mistake when she eliminated Ayapyon, she was hesitating to eliminate Mako and she should have eliminated Mako tbh. Mako is a lot more talkative, analyzing, serious etc. she was scary really x_x So they also eliminated Sakatan fast. Unlike in the first game where they were 3 in the end, this one ended with 5 people.

I have to say Sakatan is not very good at this game haha she couldn't guess who was lying and she wasn't good at lying either She's so entertaining.
