Recruiting a new gen of overseas girls would be really interesting.

I don't think it will be a world tour, don't think they would have enough support in western countries, maybe just in asian ones like they already did.

I'm hyped about this but don't wanna put my expectations too high.

 

I doubt they would recruit a gen of overseas girls.

Mainly because of visa issues. And language barrier.

 

Members packing their suitcases leads me to some kind of travel arrangements that why I chose world tour. No way would they create a new foreign sister group considering they still have some trainees after the auditions last year. Except who knows? Expect almost anything.

@SteCola they just have to have enough to fill the venues they choose. They could be doing smaller venues similar to Budokan which is about 10-12,000 seats for concerts. I believe that there are at least that many fans in each of the foreign countries they may visit.

 

Is nogizaka46 really big outside?

#imo 48group much famous than sakamichi group but as i know they never did a world tour, they did asia festival with boost from other overseas group. They also did some perform but as guest in some event tho. Cmiiw

- i think she's too old for this

 

same, i don't doubt her leadership skill, i think Manatsu will be a great captain. but she's a 1st gen and she's already 25, at most i think she'll stay around for another 3 years (and that's already a stretch). so i guess, this is a transition period?

still, i'm happy for Manatsu, congratulation to her

- she will manage the transition to long term captains ( Umemayo and KBS)

Manatsu is too old for the NEW captain. I doubt she'll stay in the group for 3 years so on.

 

I'm okay with anyone from 1st gen.

 

Well, maybe this means she does.

 

I could really easily see her staying many more years, even in her 30's if possible. And honestly, I'm relieved to this. To me Manatsu is one of the pillars of the group, she's funny in a unique way, active, enterprising and intelligent.

I'm sorry to say that, but 3rd and 4th gen girls as for now, seem generally quite good as idols to be loved by wotas, but it's harder to find good ones for variety skills that have a strong chara like Manatsu (and other senpai) does. I was worried that she would graduate soon and shows like Nogichuu would have lost a really important member (and, she's one of the most loved members in the group ). Glad it's not happening anytime soon.

 

Its fine if a member is only captain for a couple of years.
