Rena was a guest yesterday on the TV Tokyo show "THE Karaoke ★ Battle Special <U-18 Utauma Daikoshien>" in which one of the competitors was Ikeda Yura of STU48 (credit to uploader): https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV14N411X7Hy

Gosh watching her Kingdom Hearts stream has brought back a lot of memory. I can't even fathom how many hours I invested in that game as a child.
I catch up with her YT channel from time to time. So far Little Nightmares serie and her Night routine are my fave. So Soothing ..the night routine I mean, Little Nightmares killed my ears lol
I can't imagine I didn't post this before, but I can't find it now. Rena was in Gyoretsu no Megami - 行列の女神~らーめん才遊記~. IrozukuSubs started with episode 1 last October, but just recently posted episode 3. The show aired from April 20 to June 8, 2020 (8 episodes). https://irozuku.org/fansub/tag/gyoretsu-no-megami/ https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/らーめん才遊記
Gekikara still gets hiccups when she eats hot food, cute if the video does not show watch the video here
Hi! I just joined Stage48 recently and I'm a Rena fan. Looking forward to talking with everyone! It doesn't look like this video has been mentioned yet. Rena ate spicy curry and she bailed! This must have been a really intense one. if the video does not show watch the video here (Her weathered t-shirt with its bacon collar and bacon sleeves is CUTE) She uploaded another video yesterday, (which was her birthday). It's an ASMR video! The box-tapping at the beginning makes her look like an expert if the video does not show watch the video here She's so beautiful in her yukata and it reminds me of one episode of Doki Doki NHK World Japan where she said she didn't have a kimono because it feels like a big commitment. She started liking the early comments in this video last night at almost exactly the same time that Promise Cinderella aired on TV. One of those early comments that she 'liked' is mine so here I am, getting ready for our marriage Speaking of Promise Cinderella, Rena's the primary antagonist (or the closest to being one anyway) in that drama. Episode 3 aired last night and there were a lot of people saying how well she plays the scary, scheming character. I agree with it! In fact, I really think she captured the vibe of the manga version of her character.
I'm not surprised that she can be a good antagonist. Rena can certainly act and she proved it being Gekikara in the Majisuka Gakuen drama. (Personally, I think Rena looks much better with long hair!)
I agree, I really like Rena's acting. I've only watched Majisuka Gakuen, and 100 Million Yen Woman, but she was really good in the latter as well. It's one of my favourite Japanese dramas of all time, I really recommend it. Hitomi (Rena's role) was my favourite
I can't believe I found another one! I've only ever found myself and two other friends say that we love the long hair more Though of course, I still love her whatever hair she has. I even like her current hair, now that it's gotten back a bit of length compared to when she first cut it. It feels elegant. I love watching her act. I've checked out some of her unsubbed works, since I think I've gone through all the ones with subs. Just have to get past a couple of obstacles like my envy/jealousy towards her love interests and not being able to understand much of what's happening
I have love/hate feelings towards 100Million Yen Women, but each actress killed their role, creating very credible and interesting characters. Also, I loved to see Yuuko, Rena and the other Rena (Takeda) together. I also loved Detective Ballerino. She had an interesting role there and some sequences were very good. But, in the end, I think the character I will never stop to love is Gekikara. I mean... do I have to explain it? She was perfect in it.. crazyness and fragility at the same time. Still priceless. I would love for her to have a complex similar character soon or later.
Rena has two interviews with LEON in their series talking about cool adults. They talk about Rena in general plus her acting and writing career. https://www.leon.jp/peoples/81240 https://www.leon.jp/peoples/81242 As a fan of people who work hard and are good at a multitude things, this made me love Rena even more. She also mentions how she wants to be an adult who listens to and understands younger people. She sounds like she's gonna be a cool mom, huh? :') Around July 14, Rena has been cast as Antony in a Julius Caesar play (the one written by Shakespeare). The other characters also seem to be played by women. https://stage.parco.jp/program/julius/ https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/5c0ab2785f60c4d98cc9570c65ef8383426adf2e
