Kumiten as Center is something i didn't expect but i like it so much..
Nao back first row. love it.

Sarina grad third row tho.. well.. atleast its center.

but.. 4th Gen.
i don't know what S&F plan for them.

 

Just like many, i thought them performing Kitei Shita Jibun in the tour was a sign of 4ki senbatsu, but i guess management is afraid of breaking the "all veterans senbatsu" and doesn´t want to deal with the repercussion that will come from some girls oshis. They wanna play it safe as long as possible.

Hot take: I think they could have solved this dilemma in this album. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to push 4ki and mark the beginning of a new era. If they want to play safe, just put some of the most popular 4ki on senbatsu lol. Shogenji is really popular, her sales are almost on pair with some popular veterans, her meguri sold out quick, why not put her on senbatsu?

 

Congrats Kumi for the center, although I kinda suspense this is because she'll be graduating soon (because she'll turn 30 in about two years?). I hope not..

The promo picture seems so much like the last single setup.. I wish they made it different. But other than that, I'm excited to hear more about this album.

Expecting for Lima Cantik's last song, please.. they've never performed anymore.

 

I actually think they're using this album as an end to Hinatazaka's current all members in senbatsu era. Hence Kumi as center and no 4ki. My prediction is that the next single will be centered by a 4ki (probably Yoko) and we'll have members out of senbatsu for the first time. Among Sakamichi idols singles are more relevant than albums so it makes more sense to have a change in the group starting from a single rather than an album.

Apparently Kumi sent a message on mobame reassuring fans she won't graduate. I actually predict Kyoko to be the next 1ki to graduate, bc she seems to be flourishing outside of the group.

 

Congrats Kumi for taking the center spot! So happy for her and I am so glad she finally gets more recognition She's doing such a good job as captain and yes, glad she announce she would not graduate soon because of the center position.

Finger cross we're getting good unit songs and a new banger like their last album (main)songs

 

Wait, I'm so late, why Nibu-chan is not in senbatsu? Is she in hiatus?

 

Yes. Her old back pain problem came back, so the doctor recommended taking a break.

Oh, Kumi said in one of radio show, the song will be a cool type song.

 

Yeah , I was there just now when they announced the YouTube premiere in the concert during the encore, when everyone wished her Omedetou!

 

The main song is so cool, it's an instant like-at-the-first-listen for me, just like One choice back then.
The MV is festive too, especially the last chorus. So happy watching it.

Kyoko wasn't in the dusk/evening set, btw

I hope the album will have many new songs like Hashiridasu Shunkan.

 

I like the song. Somehow it's giving me Hiragana Keyaki vibes.

One of Ohisama found an interesting thing about 0kara1 MV. Some scene reminds us of the previous single. In this picture, there are dance movements similar to the 5th-10th single.

Coincidence? Or, Takahiro Sensei did that to create a choreography representing the group's growth. We need to wait for the HinaRiha video for this lead song.

Now that explains why some part of the dances seem super familiar. I thought I had a deja-vu LoL. For me, especially from the 6th single, the move before Higashimura poses that Kasuga try to imitate in HinaAi. Next MV analysis episode is gonna be interesting. Also, I wonder if there another Hamagishi fuming angry comment towards MV director this time .

welp, i guess bare-bones compilation albums with 5 bonus tracks slapped on are gonna be the standard for sakamichi groups now. also not to keen on all of those new songs besides the A-side being generation songs, for the third time in a row and like the millionth overall. what on earth does yasushi/konno/whoever's in charge of this have against units??

i'm happy for hiraho though! it's been nice watching her grow in popularity, i'd say she's in the same league as the big 3 at this point. my one gripe w/ this is that the 4ki formation is getting kinda repetitive. i know shogekaho are popular, but i doubt their fans would throw a fit if they were moved to the second row for one song, lol. girls like konishi/mitsuki/haruharu are decently liked too, why not let them flank the center in gen songs at least? it's starting to feel like management doesn't know what to do with this gen, they were probably expecting them to be a golden goose like the previous gens, instead they ended up more like a nogi gen (barring 5th) where only about half the members click with the fans. they don't want to take risks, but they also refuse to give up on their rio push despite her ending up unpopular. idk, i don't want to see most of them become perma-unders until enough popular members graduate and management has no choice but to start paying attention to them.
