A lot of crying Sasshi in this ep. Even Aoi making a wallet was so cute that she cried.

I don't get the I ペロ on the belt though.

I thought that this episode was going to be a tad boring looking at the places they were going but the members really held it up.

Tani being incredibly upfront, Haruppi in full fumble mode, Aanya and the guys in the restaurant ("What have we gotten ourselves into now" ) and lastly Sasshi & Goto with the coronet sleeping bag and a book about the weirdest toilets in the world.

 

This episode was frickin' hilarious [rofl] The two hyper HKT girls stole the show today, definitely. Note: don't watch it on an empty stomach.

Marika at the end with her togeza situation kinda made me cringe though, I would've been so surprised if that poor housewife actually allowed them to come to film in her house on such a sudden notice..

Goto's present to Sasshi was hilarious too. Can't believe that such a blanket is actually popular in Japan though! And what on earth was with that book of weird toilets? [rofl]

So I looked into the fuss. The thinking pattern goes as follows:

A) Jiina saying that she's going to film for Odekake today on G+

B) Some Korean guy who appearently has business in Japan too, tweeted about spotting HKT on his Air Busan flight to Busan Gimhae Intl. After which he also posted above picture of them with Jiina in it.

Now I checked out Air Busan, which is appearently a subsidiary of Asiana for their flights and found out that they have a regular connection to Fukuoka Airport up to two times a day.

Seeing it's tuesday today, I searched for flights from Fukuoka to Busan that have landed.
I found 2:

Flight BX 141, departed 11:40 AM & landed at 12:25 PM actual.
Flight BX 143, departed 7:40 PM & landed 8:18 PM actual.

Having identified the flights, I checked out the timing of the guy's posts.

At 7:44 PM he says that he spotted HKT on his flight to Busan.
At 8:41 PM he posts the picture of HKT in the airport.

You see how the post times correspond with the arrival and take-off of Flight BX 143?

Case pretty much closed. [smoke]

I hope they don't try to appeal to Koreans though, with the animosity between the two countries as it is.

I see Haruppi, Natsu and Rikopi along with the Captain in the photo, but whom is to Rikopi's left?

Dammit I really want Sasshi to be there in the Korea episode not just as commentary but really there along with Goto but with her schedule and all that's probably not gonna happen..

I think that is not Haruppi behind Natsu in the pic. Should be Morippo. Haruppi is shorter than Natsu. But the person in the pic is taller. Also the part in the bangs corresponds with how Morippo usually wears her hair. Shame, as I would really love to see Haruppi in a HKT tv show on location in Korea.

I wonder if they got the chance to try some Tteokbokki. Super yummy, and spicy. And you don't go to Korea without doing Korean BBQ. That would be tragic.

Like hjr said, I think the girl behind Natsu is Madoka and not Haruppi.

By the way, Rikopi and Natsu have been to Korea before. They (along with Haruppi) ran in the Sakura Marathon in Gyeongju back in April. There was a short story about it on the Yomiuri newspaper website, which I translated here.

 

Wow I didn't know that they'd already been there.

As for today's episode it was a continuation of the last one, so more food tasting. With varying tastes it seems.

Ah, they finally went that island from a couple of episodes ago.

The team part was certainly the highlight. Little cute devil Aoi-chan + scaredy cats 1st gens and Daijoubu + Chiizu 2nd gens.
