I understand WIZ*ONE would prefer to have all of IZ*ONE in one place, as it makes it easier to follow activities that way, but it's honestly a bit sad. They'd rather not see these girls succeed and re-debut than what...? I follow a twitter account that translates a lot of the PUP stuff, just to keep up with it, and he recently said not to interact with a certain troll account – the account in question was a support account for Starship trainees (namely Wonyoung and Yujin, for now, as we don't know any of their other trainees). He got so mad that this account dared to make a Starship future GG account because "wHaT aBoUt IzOnE!!!!!!111!!1". He said it was disrespectful to WIZ*ONE to already give up on PUP and I was just gobsmacked.

Mostly, I would like the PUP to work out, mostly for the Korean members (I'm happy with Nako and Hitomi in Japan/48G). However, a part of me wishes some of them would start announcing other plans somewhat soon so that this craze can die down a bit...

On a completely unrelated note, Shige (Murashige Anna) from HKT48 dressed up as a WIZ*ONE at today's HKT48 concert while Sakura solo performed High Tension

I've been out of the IZ*ONE loop for a while now and, my God. I was not expecting this whole "project" to get them back together was, wow. That's---wow. I don't even know what to say about it.

 

Let be honest, beside J-Line (w/ 48G-related stuff), Yujin and Minjoo (w/ MC stuff) and Yena (w/ variety show stuff), the agency don't have any idea what happened next with the girls. Joining new group or established group like RCPC and Everglow, those fans will throw tantrum. Becoming solo singer like Chungha, the agency afraid if the girls will be flopped. Becoming actress, we don't know their acting capability. Making another group project like what PUP proposed but with shorter period, those fans will throw tantrum demanding longer/permanent period In the end, the girls become your typical instagram influencer with sometimes endorsing sponsoring brand

Of course there's fans who like that. Even X1, which the members now are having their own career, has fans who demand re-debuting X1

I thought WI*ZONE are more mature and sane than Wannables, but apparently my thought is wrong

Speaking about PUP, apparently some of the creators were exposed as J-Line anti. Also, most of big account WI*ZONE are PUP supporters so
(maybe we should ask yuiyui to hex those wizzies lol)

 

On the topic of this again, K-netz are upset with Shige and Sakura for this performance (eye roll). They think Shige was making fun of Korean fans, but obviously have no idea what was really going on. Shige presented herself as a Japanese wota who followed Sakura to Korea and now back to Japan and would continue following her future career.

This is so toxic, wtf? Artists should be able to do what they want to do. While, yes: listening to fans is always a good feeling, but taking it to this level? That's just toxic af. I can't support a project like this because these humans just want them tied down to a project, they don't want to see the girls grow. No sensible fan should want to support a project like this because they have been known this was just a temporary project. All previous PD101 projects were successful and they still had to end their activities as a group. It was never meant to be a permanent group and it was advertise as such. This is truly not a way to support your favorites; this is being utterly selfish.
