Kasai Tomomi (Tomo~mi) / 2nd Generation

From "Describe the AKB48 member above",

She used to be 河西愛美 (Kasai Manami), but changed to 舞桜 (Mao).
Since she sometimes changes her profile, such as birthday, I don't know which one is her real name.

 

i wonder...does she change her name often? or a one time thing?

good thing tomomi keeps her name as is...
its like...let's see..today i am going to change my name now...lol

 

I think she changed only one time, and her real name is "Manami".
But I don't understand why she changed to "Mao".

 

i think Manami sounds better...but mao isn't bad.

 

cuter....nah, i go with Tomomi-chan all the way, but Mao is defintely hawter....sexy, and 19!

Mao sound like 魔王(maou) the meaning is devil
to me manami is more cute

 

^ So there's more than one way to say devil? That's pretty cool. I only knew "akuma" as devil. What does "Manami" mean?

Japanese has many different way, pronounce and write by kanji, they're homonym but different in write by kanji.

does Tomomi have any other sisters?
i think looking at Mao's blog, i thought i saw tomomi-chan in some of the pix, the two sisters close?

 

^ I think Tomomi has only one sister (Mao).
Did you find Tomomi in the pictures at Mao's blog? I think there is no pic of Tomomi.
Anyway, I think they are close, at least they are not in a bad relationship.
At Mao's old blog, she said she went to see AKB48 live with family.

 

I thought there was some shot of her with Tomomi but there were always some hearts over her face.

 

They probably can't mention each other since they are in competing agencies. Too bad, I'd love to see the two side by side. They are both cuties.

 

^ Oh, since I didn't check her blog carefully, I didn't notice that.
But in some pictures, there is a word like "仲良し姉妹 (friendly sisters)".
So definitely she is Tomomi.

 

^ Yea, and for more proof, in the picture above you can see an "M" near Mao's face and it looks like a "T" is near the "mystery girl."

 

So sad she can't post her own sister in her own blog.
