Kasai Tomomi (Tomo~mi) / 2nd Generation

You can just tell that it's Tomomi just by looking at it, and of course the 'T' that foojason pointed out is a dead giveaway.

I actually like Manami as well, but the meaning of Mao is nice too. Maybe she changed it because it sounds a bit similar to Tomomi (Kasai Tomomi / Kasai Manami)?

Mao didn't get paid much attention before Tomomi joined AKB48.

If you ever see the videos on Mao's blog, she performs on the street. Tomomi performs on a stage. Does anyone think there could be some jealousy.

 

probably....but don't you think that Tomomi would feel bad if her older sister felt that way...not that there is a rift between them.

 

but this is show business some win some lose and the number of the winners is a few.
i think her sister knows that.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if there was some jealousy towards Tomo, since she's way more popular and definitely gets paid more, for example. But if they're close, then I'm sure there would be understanding from her sister's part that Tomo was just lucky and good enough to be accepted into AKB.

 

Maybe when Tomomi graduates, she and her sister could do a duet.
