Quite often on google+, Riichan will post an apology video along with Rikanyan. This usually takes the format of Rikanyan explaining to Riichan something she did wrong and making her apologise for it.

Here's a clueless someone who doesn't know a single person from NMB48 other than Milky and Saya-nee... but then I switched on my PSP and my AKB48 game to discover it was this girl's birthday.

Didn't know about these so cheers for sharing; I love radio shows so there goes another into my weekly rotation. These sorts of shows are particularly nice because, even though they're short, at least you don't have to skip whole shows because the line-up might not be interesting. Those columns seem pretty fun for a quick read as well.

 

On tomorrows radio show Anchu and Rippi will be appearing with Riichan.
Also apparently she's been watching some of Nogi-doko.. her oshimen is Ikuta Erika. She said on her blog that it's hard to believe that they're actually the same age because of how different they are.

This weeks radio show. The Ganbarina part appears at the end, however RIican, Rippi and Anchu appear throughout the whole show. They play "Sayanee" at the end. Usually, the YT vids cut the songs out, but this one is left in.

I've only just started watching them, so I don't know what they involve, although the first part seems to be them eating stuff and then coming up with an idol style catchphrase for the food.

Ah Riichan always seems so busy recently, it's great they finally seem to be getting the idea that they can give non senbatsu girls plenty of work besides the theatre too. NMB has really increased my love for radio shows. Thanks for the links to them!
Also seems like they are going to start giving her more gravure too then. She looks so pretty recently.

 

NMB's basically the only one that does that. Mostly since NMB represents the general Kansai/Kinki area of Japan rather than just a specific prefecture, everyone gets something. (Though, it might seem like a way to compensate for a lack of senbatsu for some). Girls like Riichan/Keiichi get work in Shiga, the Nara born people just got their own CM, Yuipon does a radio show in Wakayama (I don't even know if she's from there). But while it's not mainstream work, NMB does a lot of local work in the Kansai/Shikoku/Kinki area.

SKE gets radio shows in the Nagoya area (They recently got one in Gifu) but it's definitely not to the extent of NMB.

I like this Riichan better.

 

If you want to look quite early on in NMB's history, RIichan gets a lot of screen time in Star Hime Sagashi Tarou, and a lot in Naniwa Nadeshiko. Although they might be difficult to find seeders now so best to check things like Youku.

Currently she appears every 3-4 weeks with Momoka, in Yoshimoto midnight comedy (new episode tonight actually) which is a Yoshimoto stage play comedy. You can find the older episodes on Youku or H!P. It's really good.
