    As Jin already mentioned in Sakiko's thread, Aki-P announced yesterday afternoon on Google+ that he is planning to release a solo piano album by Team K member Matsui Sakiko this summer.

    Thanks very much for the translation HRP!

    I've been looking forward to this ever since Aki-P first mentioned it. Google+ is really bringing out some previously under-utilised members and giving them real chances. Its great to hear that the google+ Art Club are getting involved as well :)

    awesome stuff!

    i might actually pick this up.
    i wonder if it'll come with sheet music! i'm trying to learn the piano right now and even though the basic stuff is impossible for me, hey, it's nice to have something to shoot for.

    I didn't expect this but it's really awesome that these girls are getting a chance to do things other than idol pop, while still in AKB.

    I never followed Sakiko really, but maybe I'll start now... I really love piano music~~ ^_^

    If I'm not in debt when this comes out I might just get it. =P I have to get un-addicted to ebay first though... LOL

    I'm so happy for Matsui Sakiko, & I believe she will do a great job.
    I hope that her Album will contain a lot of AKB48 single title, like those in "AKB48 Kin sma Special"

    has sakippe played akb48 songs before, I mean other than ponytail shushu intro in yoyogi's concert?

    seems as though this is getting the go-ahead! It's amazing what google+ is doing for some of these members isn't it, really given her a chance to show of her talents that she might not otherwise of had!

    "ggrks" is abbreviation of "gugure kasu!"(It is foolish that you ask it without Google. ).
    It's a net slang used in 2ch.

    You're right. That's why I translated it that way. ;)
    "Google is your friend" - or in fact, GYIF - is a proper equivalent, because speakers of English use it in the same kind of situation (when people ask things on forums without doing a simple search beforehand).

    Literally, "gugure kasu" would translate to "Google it, idiot (scum)". I guess I could have included that.

    Great news, I'm glad for Sakippe. I've never been fond of classical music but I love the intro of Ponytail to Shushu (and her performance in the Yoyogi concert is one of my favorite moments) so, if she's performing versions of AKB songs, that might be worth listening to.

    This is really interesting. I love listening to the piano so I'm really really looking forward to it. Now I hope an orchestra album comes out. haha

    I'm so in love with this piano solo by Sakippe! :inlove: I've deathlooped this track so much, I can hum it from memory :D I hope for her piano album to include that piano instrumental at the end of Manatsu no Sounds Good!, then the album would be completely epic!
