Minegishi Minami (Miichan) / 1st Generation

Having a 1st gen amongst the 13th and 14th gens sure made it a team no one had ever seen before
I think Aki-P must have gone 'now why didn't I think of something like this before??' (or maybe after Miichan got demoted he did think of it, it's looks like maybe Miichan wasn't a top favourite, but he did have a soft spot for her and gave her some very personal songs)

I always think it's so telling what happens at the 2014 request hour when they move from the main stage to the front area and Miichan falls back, walking up with all the members on her side for a bit, starting at the front and ending at te rear.
she really was the kindergarten teacher she aspired to be when she was a kid in a way back then
I've said it before, but in a way team 4 saved Miichan, for sure it helped her self image a lot even though even now she still can be kinda negative.

About Kojiharu's gradcon ... no one had an entrance like her, being carried in by all the managers
Miichan's gradcon might have not been as elaborate, but it had a solid set list, bringing on all her friends one by one, having them double center a song with a current member.
I'd like to think the then current members will always have a great memory of getting to perform with those 1st and 2nd gens, sharing the stage with them, and those 1st and 2nd gens all got a mini gradcon as well .
The reunion of Minegishi Team 4, I still feel happy (and a bit sad) when I see that.

 

Miichan mentioned in the fanclub that she went to visit Yuko and the baby.
She wanted to take a picture but didn't due to privacy
She brought pyjamas as a gift, but as Miichan said, cats and babies like the bags more
She also said Yuko was full of energy as always.

Kinda off topic, Tokai on Air will resume making videos on March, so I assume things got patched up with Shibayu (left bottom in the pic) (for sure his wife still hates Miichan though)

 

I always thought the lyrics of Seijun Philosophy were a bit to close to Miichan for comfort ... but might have reflected the thoughts of the other Kenkyusei in a way
They aren't harsh but the "I want to protect my purity" might have hurt Miichan a bit.

Mata Aeru I Made and Watashi wa Watashi were specifically written for Miichan, maybe some of the most personal songs Aki-P has written

Miichan had a day off so she went to 109 SPINNS because Tetsuya wanted some Near Joy collaboration goods (well, that's what you get when you marry an Otaku )

It's really old, there is mention they need to wrap things up before 9pm as some girls (including Miichan) are still in school, and tbh, I barely recognise any Team A members :/

 

During All Night Fujiko they had all the Fujiko girls fill out a questionnaire asking them for ideas for the show (well, I think that was it)

I think nobody is really surprised this would happen, though maybe surprised it didn't happen earlier.
Miichan loves kids, it was plain she always wanted to have kids but I guess she delayed to be able to build up her post AKB career
Tetsuya mentioned he would be more mindful of the type of YouTube content he would be making from now on (Tokai on Air could get kinda extreme)

Well, Miichan sure is qualified for that

anyway, it's kinda smart move, most of these are already trained and well known, I can see the appeal

btw, it's almost weird how many ex-AKB members joined other idol groups, Fresh Lemon, Ranran .. the list goes on
