I agree that this thread should be used to discuss anything related to the 9th generation, but the title needs a change. Can it be changed to just "NMB48 9th Generation" please? Thanks.

(the girl on the 2nd photo) ^^

Closer Look at 9th gen, part 6 if the video does not show watch the video here This documentary is getting pretty long This part covers how they practiced their first song, Namba Ai, which is quite difficult. Also how they had to have small competition to decide their positions in the song.
the 7th gen doc had 17 eps, the 8th gen one 12 eps (too lazy to look up the previous ones since they're not on YT). I guess it's gonna be a similar number to 8th gen and they will track their path all the way to the 9th gen stage which starts next week. I would only add that in place of kage ana was ishida yumi appearing on stage to announce the participating members and positions. and the center for the opening act starting with generation change was haga rei. rei-pon seems to very much be a favorite of yumi's rei and reiko were very impressed with tenna's vocals if the video does not show watch the video here if the video does not show watch the video here Leave it to yumi to deliver and awesome set list. I read comments that consider the shonichi a concert level performance
2023/02/04 9th gen camp I recently watched this! it's the first part of the 9th gen camp that happened in early February. You can find the other parts by opening this video on bilibili (the other parts are all listed on the right side). I only saw this first part, because I wanted to get to know the 9th gen members a little and this is a good introduction to them! The 9th gens were divided in 3 groups and Keito, Kojirin, Yuina and Yuumin were in charge of introducing each group one by one. They did the same activities with all of them: 1) 'power', they do push-ups. 2) 'intelligence', they do a quiz. 3) 'mental', they have to eat bugs. 4) 'technique', they make a paper plane, and have to make it fly far. 5) valentine confession. I think with these simple little challenges, it really helps to get to know the different personalities of each member! The first group was with the younger members. They're cute ;w; Ami looks like a baby lol. My favorites in this group were Yukatan and Reina! Yukatan is so cute and weird (in a good way haha), she was hilarious during the bugs part, her reactions XD I love that thing she does where she imitates the emotions of a dog, it's so cute. and they made her do it here while crying, and right before eating the bugs XD This was my favorite part haha. as for Reina, it was funny how she failed so bad at some tests, and did great at eating bugs, she looked a bit crazy lol. The second group, I feel like this group had a good balance of cute members and funny members. This group was entertaining ^^ The members I liked the most here are Wakatan, Yuma and Sayuki. Wakatan surprised me, she's good at almost everything and I like how she was willing to go first like for eating bugs or do the confession. She looks pretty too. For Yuma, this girl is weird and funny XD She took foreverrr with the bugs lol. then her sudden change of reaction when they brought the different bugs, she ate it easily, what even XD She also did well with the confession. Lastly for Sayuki, I just find her funny! I also think Rei is cute. Overall this part was fun! Finally the third group, my favorites here were Tenna, Reio and Yukino. I also think Manami is pretty. I think Yukino was funny, not intentionally, she was just kinda random lol. and I find Reio cute. Now for Tenna, she took most of my attention in this group! I already noticed her before watching this, but I think this show made her my favorite for 9th gens. She didn't really do something special, I just like her attitude, she has a nice smile, I like how she did the different tests, her expressions etc. She's my type of idol and I really like her *-* I really recommend watching this for anyone who wants to get to know the girls, it's a bit long but it's fun to watch even without subs (everything can be understood, except the quiz I guess). Thanks to this, I know pretty much all of their faces and names and some things about their personalities ^^ If I have to say my favorites in this gen right now, in no order: Tenna, Yukatan, Wakatan, Nishiyuma. I already like most of them tbh (it's also thanks to the subbed documentary!)

Closer Look at 9th gen, part 9 if the video does not show watch the video here This time it covers the internal audition for the 9th gen stage (later revealed to be Sedai Kōtai Zen'ya (世代交代前夜) show) I'm not familiar with how they choose the starting members in NMB, is it always with these kind of internal audition?
