It's just Momoclo.

Honestly I thought Momoclo might take first.......this single have one song tied with a drama and one song for a CM. The group is pretty popular now..I think they're not that far from AKB, despite their sales.

 

I knew Mayuyu beat Momoclo and SNSD, but she beat Take That as well

 

Glad to see her topping the ranks, makes me glad I preorderd my copy a while ago.

 

Hikaru Monotachi's 2nd week sales was stronger than her 1st and 2nd singles!

The biggest news of this single is that it seems Mayuyu now settles in as a solo singer.

It's safe to say she is now a 100K-120k seller compare to Tomochin or Aachan or other AKB soloist which is definitely not bad at all.

Wow, the results are really good! I hope that in her next singles to come, they'll be even better than her previous ones and make her name as a solo artist like Acchan and Tomochin.

Her first week sales are really good on its own (beating the 2nd single shows that there are more people interested in her and losing to the 1st single is without doubt), but I hope she would try to settle her own image as a soloist, because a CG really won't last long in the solo industry.

Just asking, in the limited edition version there is a photobook, what are the photos in there?

 

It's actually more of an illustration book. There are some famous light novel illustrator, artists and mangaka who draws their version of Mayuyu in this android costume, include some of Mayuyu's favorites.

If it was a photobook of Mayuyu I wouldn't mind buying the limited edt. But oh well... Regular it is then

Still a student, so my pocket money is really precious to me...

 

I actually thought it was better this way I mean, we get so many pictures of Mayuyu through other outlets anyway, having famous artists DRAW Mayuyu instead was a novel idea. It's unique, and actually, all of the artists' interpretations of her are really good. If you're into the anime art style, these are quite honestly some of the best anime art out there, and it looks way better than the CG we saw in the PV. I would totally play a game based off art like this :music:

 

Yeah I like the book too, besides the price really wasn't that different, just 400 yen more compare to A+B+C. The only down side there are no DVD in it so I end up having to purchase another type, though I was planning on getting Type C anyway for the Mayu-tan.


BTW,anyone willing to trade the uniform card with me? I got the Tokyo one when I'm really looking for was Osaka one.

Her live singing has definitely improved alot as seen in the Unit Matsuri.
I really appreciated the effort she put into singing this well live, and with all that much pressure on her. I used to think that her voice wasn't suited for such live performances and that's why her songs had quite some auto tune and dubby tunes. :/
