After hearing the audio, I prefer "Hana Dare" more but maybe it will grow on me after watching the MV. And yes a front-line for Sayaka

 

From 9th single, I prefer 'Egao no chance'. Melody, dynamic and outstanding guitars sound are better.

 

It’s nice. Definitely their most Sakamichi-ish single so far. But I like it

Chiho looks stunning, reminding me of this Wednesday girl from Netflix, I wonder if they share the same personality type.

Normally I'm always sad if she's chosen over Yumirin, bcs I made the experience that for STU48's 6th single Yumirin would have fitter better, but in this case absolutely noone would have the charismatic potential to replace Chiho.
Best center position I've encountered so far.
Probably they spent a lot of money from last single's income to financially improve the new MV's special effects + closeup background, that's why the 9th single announcement may have lasted so long.

I would have loved if they included Tanaka Miho into the senbatsu. I strongly believe that neither her, nor Matsumoto Hinata, Kado Yuria or Noepii would have announced graduation if not dropped.

Hopefully next single comes soon emough & will surpass even this masterpiece.

It was a little bit confusing tho, that they were posting a B-side's MV first (one with a typical A-side cover similar to the previous single's main cover), because fans who just got into STU48 due to the enormous success of "Hana wa Dare no Mono?" may think now, this already was the new A-side (also the Senbatsu members are the same, but less of them) & be disappointed. That would be such a pity if that’s going to be the fall of STU48 shortly after its rise.

I love the MV, the outfits are so gorgeous!

Has anyone been able to scan the QR code that the girls are dancing on/the ones they have on their hands? I haven't been able to capture them successfully and I'm curious where it takes you when you scan them

 

STU48 never disappointed me. The choreography looks so amazing, can't wait for the Dance performance version (which I believed will be upload soon after the success of Hana DaMo).
I love how they add translation in the MV either, this beautiful lyric needs more recognition.

i got hers to work as well but i had to rotate my phone to the left (i had been rotating to the right) and move it away from the screen enough that her hand fits in the scan box and zoom was at 100% (no zoom). maiQ's is the only one that i could get to work so far.

 

Thanks everyone for the attempts with screenshots! The MaiQ screengrab from @ThirtyFour34 works for me as well and I get the same result (unsurprisingly). That solves the question of the individual codes!

It's directed by Mistusishi Naokazu, and the film contains a message:
"If you find someone you love, you can change, you can breathe" for those who are having problems such as puberty, relationships and not being able to find their dreams, which make them feel as if they cannot even breathe.

The music video depicts a scene in which each member is troubled and breathless in their days, but each of them overcomes their conflicts and regains their "smile". The story shows that the tears they shed when they couldn't breathe were not in vain, but were a passage in their youth that would provide them with food for tomorrow.

The performance scene, filmed on the rooftop of a building in Hiroshima City, shows a brilliant dance with a high synchronisation rate. The chorus part of the song expresses the opening of the heart from a closed place through dance, and the cool dance is a rare highlight for STU48, coupled with the simple black and white colourful costumes.

The message that has characterised the title track of STU48's singles since their debut 'Darkness' is also strongly reflected in this song. The 'tearful face' singing scenes of the members inserted in the middle of the song will be a must-see for the audience to get emotionally involved.

No official announcement has been made at this stage regarding the QR codes on stage and in the hands of the members who will perform.
