Single STU48 9th single [Iki wo Suru Kokoro] - (2023/03/15)

Just in case people missed it, there are subtitles in 9 foreign languages. It's really nice to be able to understand the lyrics' meaning.

 

For those who are still wondering about the QR code, even though some fans already managed to decypher it, Oki-chan said on twitter that "the mystery of the QR code will soon be revealed" so I'm pretty sure they still have something in store for us with this single!

Also, they just revealed the coupling song of the theater version Kamisama mo Akireru Kurai ni ( 神様も呆れるくらいに) in the radio show All Night Nippon and it sounds really nice! I don't know if they will upload it somewhere though...

I love this song so much. It's a song anybody can relate to at any age; the composition is beautiful, the vocals are great, mixing is spot-on. The dance is soft, pretty, and engaging. I love that everybody gets time to shine with the formation changes - very musical theatre-feeling formations. Outfits are really pretty and the senbatsu is filled with charismatic girls. STU deserves so much more attention!!

 

STU really never disappoints! Absolutely in love with this song. I didn’t even notice the QR codes until y’all pointed it out though lol

Each member's QR code launches a 45-second video of them on a tram in Hiroshima speaking part of the lyrics to the song. The big QR code on the floor launches a longer version with each member appearing for about 5-6 seconds.
