I'm so much more excited about SNH than I was for JKT ! Gosh, it will take forever before they actually release something... [worried]
Most of those girls look pretty, and I'm glad to see they're not just another bunch of 12 year old girls !

From the group pics posted, I think some of them are kinda plain looking, but I like that one with the twin tails in the second row. She's kinda cute, I guess.

What's a girl from Taiwan doing in SNH? Don't they got their (phantom) group TPE48?!! :wtf:

It's just sad that TPE48 was supposedly be the 2nd oversea group and there was still no news about it other than AKI-P and members kept talking about it in Japanese shows and Kitarie assures the fans that the plan is moving forward in her July visit... [hehe]

But they don't look too bad, definitely better than most AKB member before their debut....

Okay, just a frontal close up photo from Japanese news website of nikkansport.

They definitely look great from all these photos. Let's us see if they can really measure up to their mother group.

    Another one I just found.

...seems the one who studied in the US is quite the silver spoon (Chinese mainlanders who travel overseas are usually wealthy and thus able to meet the stringent government requirements for a passport).

Given their late ages, I think it has to do with local and national labor regulations.

Looks like we'll have to do a bit of tongue-twisting and memorization (so most likely they'll have to use nicknames for easier identification).

These young women owe us nothing.

We should be happy for them.

We should also be happy Akimoto's plan to take over the world is moving ahead.

The 48 Empire will bring order and joy to the world with their benevolent rule.

Was kind of surprised to see such a move made by the sister group. :/ They're planning to get rid of the Japanese image?! Oh god they should've made their own group then instead of making a sister to a Japanese idol group. :|

Re: [NEW GROUP] SNH48 (Shanghai, China)

Can't be helped given the current political situation between the two. The staff needs to at least say "the right thing" or have Chinese government coming down on their throat.

But to be fair, the video that was posted on that article didn't have that quote on it. The only thing that awkward staff member mentioned was that he hope that SHN48 not only reaches national status but being able to represent China in Asia.

That pretty standard, I mean every sister at beginning all mention that they hope one day to overtake the main army (great dream but logically improbable).

Besides, Japanese media and AKB staff were blocked from attending this event so the source of the quote is sketchy anyway. I mean they even refuse working visa on 3 Japanese members of Taiwan Orchestra. :hmm:

Either way, that comment (if real) is just to keep the heat down until this political thing boils over. [flip]

I mean they still have links to AKB48 and their main page still have article on AKB's origin and member picture (including Aachan :hehe: ).... [flip]
