Just when I thought you worked in a stock market, I think "Eh? Ange is a translator, right?" and I just realized your very last sentence XD
its been atleast 20 years since i got grounded....so glad to be an adult now. well, when you're done with the groundings, we'll be here.
I am busy too like Lariemeeva. That's why after 2 days (around that) only I can log in to S48. Sheesh. Outdoor project makes me busy all the time.
I just knew some of my friends stories, about their hometowns, their schools, their backgrounds and such. It was nice, sharing stories like that. I should do that more often.
kinda wonder 'bout dat too... havent seen that new member... btw, i actually juz checked this thread..>.< well, happy to be here with y'all^^
I just plugged my iPod into my computer to update the last week of plays for last.fm; AKB48 overtook morning musume as my #1 artist... (I've listened to the Team B 3rd stage fan recordings right through like... 5 times in the last few days )
thinking of getting a "blue-ray player". Blue-ray discs\ which is approximately 6 times the quality of your standard dvd disc, and has better quality sound, are about $29.99 at the stores. Players range from $275 and up, match that along with 1080p quality on a HDTV, you cannot match that, especially on a large wide-screen. Imagine watching an AKB48 concert on blue-ray, which they do have available, the next best thing watching it live, esp if you live over-seas.
It's spelt "Blu-ray". Apparently they didn't call it "Blue-ray" because you can't copyright a colour. The AKB48 concerts aren't quite as good as they could be, unfortunately... the video is only in MPEG2 (the same codec DVD uses, not one of the more advanced ones like H.264 or VC-1 like the best quality Blu-ray movies use), 1080i, and stereo sound. But still, it's infinitely better quality than regular DVD (and maybe half an infinity better than upscaled DVDs). My biggest gripe is lack of 5.1 sound, fortunately my sound system (Logitech Z-5500) does a good job of simulating it, putting the crowd cheers at the back etc so it sounds like I'm in the middle of it. I don't know the specs of the cheapo Blu-ray players, they might be a bit lacking. Make sure you double check reviews on the net before you spend the money or you might get screwed over by missing features. For example in the past players have come in profile 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0 (only with 2.0 did Blu-ray finally catch up to HD DVD's superior features... ). Not sure what the market is like nowadays, but definitely make sure all the things you want are in the box you pick.
ah, yeah i had no idea on all that, thanks for the info, and oops, guess i intially misspelled it... I did notice that lack of quality, especially when i viewed the DVD A4, B1 concert dvd's, and the MPEG2 quality, and to my disappointment the grainy visuals that i see upclose when i view it on my HDTV 24". I do hope the blu-ray discs that they do have on some of their concert dvd's are much better in comparison.
