    You may have to wait in line for several hours with other people trying to win. The event starts everyday at 21:00 Japan time until the 28th. I believe every day has a limited number of tickets to win. Today's event has been going on for a while, so there are very few tickets left to win (and your chances are probably slim considering the number of people lined up).

    The official site updated slightly. The title of the show is びみょ～ (Bimyo~). Anyway, I watched the NicoNico Live preview of the show earlier. I don't know how long the real show is but the preview was around 25 minutes long and had 5 skits. So that's about 5 minutes for each skit. Here are my impressions:

    I really liked the show. It's defnitely something worth seeing every week. I thought it was interesting seeing the girls in the various roles and situations. The acting was pretty good or, rather, good enough to make you laugh. It's all put together very professionally, from the opening to end.

    Now for some negatives. If you were expecting something really cheesy like the Hello!Morning skits, you might be disappointed. The skits themselves are cheesy and the acting is a bit cheesy too, in a good way. But it seems like the scenes follow a close script so there is no room for the girls to ad lib. I'm not really sure, but it feels like this show does multiple takes, which means potentially funny line misreadings could be cut out. Unexpected happenings on the set did get included though. However, even when the scenes break the fourth wall it's part of the script, not because the girls said something out of character through their own volition. I don't think the director allows for things to happen that way. Maybe this will change as the show progresses.

    I don't feel like the skits will be funny if you just watch what's happening, but maybe that's just me. I think you might have to know some Japanese for this show. Just a very simple understanding may do. Words do pop up on screen though, which is a bit strange but maybe it'll help some of us understand what was said. I also think you have to already be an AKB fan to enjoy this. The reason is because the skits in the preview used a lot of self referential humor.

    And about the humor... I thought it was generally funny. I was smiling throughout the entire thing. The only problem IMO was that, like a lot of Japanese sketch comedy shows, the scenes don't end too well. A lot of the fourth wall breaking happens at the end of the scenes, which could become repetitive if they rely on that device too much. But it is great laughs overall so look forward to watching it.

    ^i agree, you definitely need a level of japanese to understand it enough.

    i do wish it was less scripted!

    Oh man. This show is like SNL, except no one annoys me and I think all the skits are funny. Definitely going to be on my to-watch list. And seriously; I missed seeing Acchan with the other AKB48 members. :cute:
