I think in her tweet, she said "It's an SSK single, so since I'm not participating in this year's election, I opted out"

 

Good for her to not participate. She doesn't need it. She's clearly not in AKB's plans and she's not moving up or down in NMB no matter how long she does or doesn't stay. It's a waste of her time and her fans' money.

 

What a surprising stagnation of Milky's standing in the group. It's pretty disappointing. I mean, I'm disappointed in management's waste of her, not Milky herself. She'll probably graduate soon...it's really surprising that this is the way her idol career turned out.

Milky must be pretty certain of something to want to bow out of both the single and the election...

Even though I wouldn't want her to go yet (too many reasons to list), I can see the limitations of staying long-term, she's only 22, so her whole life is still in front of her. She put her time into developing herself as an idol and tried to gain what she could from the group...just as others joined to see where they could go.

Being in AKB, NMB, or whoever...it doesn't really matter, because when you're done you start back at the beginning again with what you have, no matter how popular you were. If she wants to pursue other ambitions, it may be better to leave sooner than later if she wants to give herself a shot at anything else as a career.

With how hard it is for some members to leave, she's pretty fortunate to be able to decide for herself when to go.

 

It's sad to hear about Milky. I'd just ordered her first photobook too...

 

I have to say I was pretty shocked by this turn of events. While I'm not a huge fan of Mirukii, I still respect her and all her efforts towards NMB. I imagine she has probably been thinking about graduation for a while now as I feel management has not been giving her enough attention or even the attention she deserves. That's just my opinion though.

It seems like most people in this thread took her decision as basically a graduation announcement. Well I for one don't think she is going to graduate soon based off of this decision.

 

well i respected Milky's decision to op-out this ssk. She probably thought about graduation and i wont be surprise if she make any announcement after sousenkyo is over.
maybe more NMB48 members will rank in this SSK.

she did not say that. she said she thinks about it, but she won't graduate unless she's able to check off things on her career list.

 

Yea, she said she was thinking about it. I think after you've been in the group 5+ years, its something almost anyone would think about.

 

well when Rena opt out in SSK, it open the doors for other SKE48 members to rank in SSK. so it turns out well.

She's also been telling all her fans the same thing in events. That's very telling.
