Yabuki Nako (Nako) / 3rd Generation

Most girls you don't follow will appear to have been pushed more than the one you like, it's the way we see it usually as fans.

Now your question about deserving it, of course she does, she worked hard and it paid off.

A weird question to ask on a girls page, where her fans gather to talk about how great she is..

 

Did she benefit? Yeah.
Greatly? No, not really.
Is it warranted? Of course.

Nako has improved a ton on basically every front, since her debut, or even a year ago.
Her performances are good, have a look at her centering H4. She's able to be interactive with a lot people, no matter the difference in age. (This is something which I think being around Sasshi, Mayu, ect. helped with.)
She has a good sense of humour and since a year she's perfectly able to take the initiative in MC as well. This is all on her own account in my opinion.

Sasshi is the 'top person', but to Nako she's a simply dear friend.
If you listen to them talking on the phone during showroom, you'll notice how they talk to eachother.
Same thing with the sousenkyou reaction.

So while Sasshi certainly helped her, she did the work herself.
And Sasshi helps a lot of members with MC cross-passses anyway.

Keep in mind that a lot of supposed grown-up fans were really rude to what essentially still was a 13/14yr old about that stuff.
Literally telling her: "Why the heck are you in senbatsu?" during handshakes, ect.
Emiri talked about her on showroom two days ago, saying that Nako grew into the 3rd gen who was prone to having the darkest and most gloomy moods among all of them.
With this SSK she and her plentiful fans finally showed all those people.

Nako didn't make it to the 9th single senbatsu, but neither did Miku. It seems like this might be a temporary lineup but yeah. I sorta feel bad for her. She ranked really well into Senbatu and then this happened.
