I know this is old though but in episode 119 of HKT48 no Odekake, she said that while trying out the Big-Fin Reef Squid (or Oval Squid) they caught that it tasted like "Hardened Salmon" and even Goto-san laughed hard about that remark. They even made an article about it so I'm still kind of at a loss on what really is funny in it.
I think they laughed about it because it was such a crass thing to say about a quite expensive type of seafood, comparing it to a hard, stiff piece of cheap seafood like that. And all of it in front of the fishers lol.
^^ Gotou-san did remark it was the lowest, but since my Japanese is not good, I was kind of thinking, was it the consistency of the squid they're talking about or something? I could somehow understand her because it was just caught fresh from the sea. Anyway, for a girl like Emiri, you would expect that her remark would be less blunt or something.

Recently I've seen more Emily on my tumblr dash. I'm really happy because she seems to have potential to grow to senbatsu material. I love her new hair cut as well.
Looks like Emily's at it again at the recent HKT48 no Odekake Episode 130 where they had the Yukata Track and Field meet, with Murashige declaring war at her during the quick sprint race, seemingly because Goto-san noticed her. Emily won though. Question though, when are we expecting them to become full-fledged members of HKT48? Isn't it unfair that they become trainees still while there are already members of NGT48?

Plus the 10 KKS. You could promote the rest of 3rd Gen but there are still so many members in the teams that they may not get the time they deserve. My hope is for 4th Gen to appear early next year and Team TII to be formed after a few months with 3rd Gen at the forefront
well, tbh both teams could stand to have more members. 18 members is too little for the current system. AKB's 23/24 is more like it, so say put 6 into KIV and 4 into H.
KIV but I would rather wait and hopefully see her more in the front. KIV has tons of star power and she is just beginning to shine.
