There's not much difference really, but there are some nuances here and there. Osakan dialect has a thicker, fuller and faster way of talking than that of Kyoto-ben, who has a milder, mostly feminine (geisha-like/court-ish, elegant) way of talking. Yui's way of talking is a good mixture of traditional Kyoto-ben and Osaka-ben (which is technically taking over the standard Kansai-ben) terms-wise.

And yes, DeJure, I think it has a lot to do with her being Kyoto-jin. That place is somehow magical to me, the place and people have this really peculiar calming effect that makes me feel at ease.

@oatmeal: Haha, I feel like rewatching the whole Dokkiri school now. That checkup was really hilarious we got a glimpse of her famed dressing room high tension voice when she had her ear nom'd by Mocchi. The funniest for me was when Yui couldn't believe her weight and went "Nande ya?" and her expecting more pranks to be done when it was over ["Eh, owari?"] she isn't easily fazed, so calm and cool. She won that heartbeat thing like a boss, haha.

It's actually an amusing gap to her Sousenkyou self.

@Eru Pion: It's gonna be a long and excruciating wait for the boxsets. ;___; Her Itoshisa no Accel was pretty unique, her voice was kinda lacking though. One of the things I really wish for her is to have professional voice lessons, since her dream was to be a singer anyway. But since being captain, she's been so booked. The YuiParu Kinjirareta Futari really really surprised me. I never expected them to ever have a unit of their own (kind of gave up, haha) let alone have THIS song performed. From her g+ posts, I feel like this has been requested by her/them for a while now. It was awesome in a way that they complemented each other (and Paruru somehow got more expressive while performing, it's a rare thing for me to see that on her) and the colour they represented was very telling (if we don't allude it to YinYang, because they'll be reversed ).

@goh1925: I actually kind of have the same feeling. Is it because of the draft? I sure wish there would be one though, autumn singles is where Yui fits in perfectly (so much that I'd be surprised if she won't be part of senbatsu for it somehow). As for Hirihiri no Hana, not really KFC choreography, but more like scrubbing themselves.

Not Yet was supposed to be this dance heavy sub-unit, but somehow after Shuumatsu Not Yet (which has really great choreography ) their dancing was noticeably toned down. I wish future singles would be more like the first.

I feel exactly the same. It's not just how she talks but her tone of voice, it's really soothing for some reason. All her solo lines in Not Yet are my favorite by far

I'm a little pessimistic at this.
The management probably justify this song doesn't need a MV as it already use in a CM?

This radio's a blast!!!
However that session where they are trying to give salty reaction is a miss IMO.
Yui's funny as usual by slipping quite a lot tsukkomi here and there.
And I totaly LOL at the instances where Yui corrected Ricchan on her misread.

Yeah other than YuiParu actually was reluctant in doing Kinjirareta.
Paruru also laughed at the end of Yui's narration.

Other episodes are:
Yui slipped during the song "AKB Festival" and force to sing her phrase without standing out.
Let's hope that this scene made it to the DVD, cause Yui said her skirt was flipped.
So, there's a possibility that Kitagawa Kenji gonna cut away all those goodness~~~


Yui shouted [Tokyo Dome! We are Yokoyama Team A!] in the song AKB Sanjou.
However her tension and voice is too high that is too hard to hear what she actually said.
Even her mum couldn't comprehend it. Oh, Yui~~

It's obvious puriruka made your eyes bigger, but does it also make your chin thinner?
These kind of photos always looks awkward. However, this photo isn't that awful.
Probably because Yui's there the three of them didn't really change much.


In fact, those three were together since yesterday in Yui's house.

What has me sold on this new PV is Yui wearing a hat. I love it when she wears hats because she looks awsome in them. They really suit her.
