There was a new episode of Yokoyama Yui Eats: Things With Colours yesterday. Surprisingly, as opposed to last episode, Yui doesn't eat as much this time. Only some baked potato and suzura. They do show some other foods, but nothing of Yui eating it [think]

Once again for full appreciation I recommend watching the episode.

I've been away for a while and I have 3 Team A stages and Yui's Kyoto show to catch up.

Probably from the last Team A stages. They are so cute together.
Though I've watched the MC part of the 2 Team A stages on weekend.
I think Yui was trying out a different make-up style.
Her eyelash was lighter and it's much more colourful around her eye.


However I did manage to watch the latest AKB48 to XX.
Mayuyu, AbeMaria and Minarun were asked to name one member who's clothes are much more boring than Yukirin and they named Yui.
AbeMaria was saying that Yui was wearing a set clothes which is both yellow in colour, and she looks like a banana.

LOL at Yukirin agreeing with them.

15th-gen KKS are going to debut on Ariyoshi AKB in the same episode.
I wonder what kind program are they going to do.
Please, just not another 30 minutes of ad.

Hmm, just watched AKB Kouhaku and although I enjoyed it tons I was slightly disappointed with the level of involvement they gave to the captains. Both Yui and Mayuyu didn't get to say or do all that much apart from standing there being pretty. Which they succeeded at brilliantly btw. Yui's MC is getting better, trying to involve and rouse the public a bit more these days, as is also evident from the stage MC's. She's definitely learning and trying new things, but slightly repetitive at the moment Ganbare Yui~!

Although I'm slightly sick of jellybeans as a song I do think YuiParuNaanya did a good performance. From handing out the beans in the audience to giving it their best and going all out performing on stage. They seemed to have had a lot of fun. Naanya impressed me quite a bit, as did Kojimako in Makoki.

 

^ Well Aki-P did praised Yui for her improved MC at the Kohaku afterall.
I guess Yui can really pull it off if she kept everything short,
though the downside is that it feels like those "general" comment.

I like Jelly Beans.
In fact, I think I missed all those previous performances for some reasons.
The Jelly Beans in 2013 Kohaku is the first time I listen to it.
However I kinda hope them to do it live. (Or is the audio altered in the editing phase?)
I'd rather listen to a live version where members are gasping for air/ slightly off tune vocal
than an auto tune one.
Anyway, Yui was adorable in those gifs.
Especially when she stuttered explaining the clothes. ~Kyary Pamyu Pamyu~

 

It's not that I think it's a bad song, it's just not very challenging. Although I can see how the audience interaction makes it an obvious choice to put into a lot of concerts. The autotune was overdone this time though. It almost became a techno-ish song.

The Kyary Pamyu Pamyu kyrar pjum pjum had me laughing so hard. She almost messed it up again and I don't think she ever got it perfectly right again. [clap]
