SGO48 Senbatsu Battle

SGO48 Senbatsu Battle was a competition within SGO48. The members had to perform various different kinds of entertainment in front of an external panel of judges, who were experts in their respective fields. The battle was broadcast on the official SGO48 YouTube channel, with the first episode released on June 11th, 2020.

2	The second half of the first stage. The members Nguyễn Trương Tường Vy, Ngô Thị Cẩm Nhi, Lê Nguyễn Như Thảo and Vương Mai Linh end up at the bottom, the "Danger Zone." The final Top 4 consists of Võ Ngọc Xuân Ca, Trần Cát Tường, Đặng Thị Huỳnh Như and Nguyễn Quế Minh Hân. At the end of the episode the Top 4 get to pick teams for the next stage, Group Performances. 3	'Team A', consisting of Xuan Ca Võ Ngọc Xuân Ca, Nguyễn Thị Nhi, Vương Mai Linh, Lê Mẫn Nghi, Lê Nguyễn Như Thảo and Lê Sunny performed Kiss & Make Up by Dua Lipa and BLACKPINK. 'Eyeliner', consisting of Đặng Thị Huỳnh Như, Võ Phan Kim Khánh, Nguyễn Thị Minh Thư, Phạm Lâm Ánh Trúc, Trần Lý Minh Thư and Nguyễn Trương Tường Vy performed Salute by Little Mix. 'Mỡ', consisting of Trần Cát Tường, Nguyễn Thanh Hoàng My, Nguyễn Thị Lệ, Lê Phạm Thuỷ Tiên, Ngô Thị Cẩm Nhi and Lê Nguyễn Phụng Nhi performed Yummy by Justin Bieber. The final group, 'Baby Queen', consisting of Nguyễn Quế Minh Hân, Lê Thị Thu Nga, Nguyễn Hồ Trùng Dương, Nguyễn Lê Ngọc Ánh Sáng, Châu Ngọc Đoan Thảo and Huỳnh Ngô Kim Châu performed Move by Little Mix. The winner was 'Baby Queen'. All of the other groups had to nominate 1 member of the group to be possibly eliminated. In the end, Lê Nguyễn Phụng Nhi was eliminated. 4	Every team had to create a 5-7 minute long screenplay. The teams stayed the same as before, but without Lê Nguyễn Phụng Nhi and Nguyễn Quế Minh Hân. 'Mỡ' won the round, with 180 points; 'Eyeliner' and 'Team A' both scored 170 points, and 'Baby Queen' received 160 points. All the members of 'Mỡ' received an extra 5 points individually. 5	The teams have to pick a brand and then co-ordinate their outfits within 3 minutes, then they get 15 photos done by a photographer. The two teams with the lowest score have to submit a volunteer to be eliminated. The winner was 'Mỡ' with a total of 200 points. The teams with the lowest score were 'Team A' with 155 points and 'Eyeliner' with 165 points ('Baby Queen' received 180 points). Eventually, Lê Nguyễn Như Thảo was eliminated. 6	In this episode, the girls are measured in height, weight and bust, waist and hip width. Also, over the past week, the girls received points for how often they were on time for practice and a score of up to 100 points was kept for each member. Points were deducted for tardiness or not showing up to classes without proper notice.	None	July 16, 2020
7	This episode shows how handshake events work. Some members, like Nguyễn Lê Ngọc Ánh Sáng, have a lot of visitors, but there are also members like Lê Nguyễn Phụng Nhi and Nguyễn Thị Nhi, who barely have any visitors in their lane at all. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, members are wearing screen visors and fans have to get their temperature checked before being allowed inside. At the end, the members also put on a short performance. Then, the top 5 members with most handshake tickets are called to stage;Võ Phan Kim Khánh at fifth place (164 tickets), Lê Thị Thu Nga at fourth place (170 tickets), Nguyễn Hồ Trùng Dương at third place (232 tickets), Châu Ngọc Đoan Thảo at second place (265 tickets) and Nguyễn Thị Lệ as the Handshake Queen 2020 in first place (674 tickets). 8	The four teams each chose an SGO48 song to perform. 'Eyeliner' performed Shonichi, 'Team A' performed Heavy Rotation, 'Mỡ' performed Koi Suru Fortune Cookie and 'Baby Queen' performed Ponytail to Shushu. 'Team A' received the most points, but all other teams had to nominate a member each that would not receive any points for this round. 'Eyeliner' nominated Võ Phan Kim Khánh, 'Mỡ' nominated Nguyễn Thị Lệ and 'Baby Queen' nominated Nguyễn Hồ Trùng Dương. Out of these three, only Võ Phan Kim Khánh received points. At the end of the episode, the 16 members with the most points were announced to be the senbatsu for SGO48's next single (not yet announced). Nguyễn Thị Lệ gave up her spot in senbatsu. 9	This episode aimed to find the center for the upcoming single. They are each given one minute to sing and one minute to dance to RIVER. Always four girls at a time performed in batches. 10	One by one, the girls are called to announce their rankings to determine the winner. In the end, it is Ngô Thị Cẩm Nhi against Võ Phan Kim Khánh. Nguyễn Quế Minh Hân appeared in Episodes 1-3 despite her dismissal from SGO48. This was because they were recorded beforehand.
