SGO48 (short for Saigon48) was a Vietnamese idol group and the 6th international sister group of AKB48. The 1st generation members were announced on November 17, 2018.
On December 5, 2021, it was announced they will disband after their 3rd year anniversary on December 22, 2021 due to the impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Overview
- The logo color is pink, which is the image of the Lotus Flower, which is the national flower of Vietnam.
- Since August 10, 2019 to December 22, 2021 their group captain was Võ Phan Kim Khánh (Kaycee).
- On December 5, it was announced that it would be dissolved on the 22nd of the same month because the outlook for activities due to the worldwide epidemic of the new Coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is uncertain. It will be the first "dissolution" of 48 groups in Japan and overseas.

Differences of other groups
- Unlike the other 48 Groups, SGO48 is named after the former name of Ho Chi Minh City, which is Saigon.
