Kawasaki Nozomi (Nozofisu) / 1st Generation

She my favorite member and I don't even know.

 

She said someone, I can't remember who (maybe Ohe or Haruna) said Nozomi was too hard to say, and it was too difficult to come up with a nickname from that. So, somehow they came up with Nozofisu just randomly, cause it was easy to say. It's on the special DVD that comes with the starter set.

 

...and Nozofisu is easier? *rofl*

Nozomi's a pretty name, also very cute.

 

Nozofisu is much easier to say than Nozomi It rolls off the tongue easier.

 

Today, I was driving back from Mitsuwa, this Asian food store in North Jersey, and her nickname was stuck in my head for quite some time.

It really does roll off the tongue easily - Nozofisu.

 

I guess the extra syllable makes me think it'd be harder. XD

 

i love her nickname..it sounds ultra cool, and she is such a babe.

i brought in her pin up a few times to my workplace, and helped me get thru the workdays...now her pin up picture is next to my yukarin pin up in my room, i think i will keep it there now.

yeah, she is up there in my ranking, i just bidded a photo of her and won! i want to collect more on her!

 

That's Haruna who came up with Nozofisu.
Nozomi didn't have a nickname at first, so members called her just "Nozomi". But Haruna thought Nozomi needs some nicknames because it's hard for younger members to call her by only her first name.
(In Japan, generally younger people should not call older people by their first or last name only; for example, "Nozomi" or "Kawasaki". So they must use "san" against older people; for instance, "Nozomi-san" or "Kawasaki-san.)

 

that's cool...didn't know that..are haruna and her good friends?

hmm nozo...yea that would be a silly nickname..
don't they just combine the first part and last name..
for my other favorite...an example of Yukari Sato...would be
satoyukin.....something like that.

ok...here's my question to open it up..

what got you into Nozofisu and Yukarin? when did you first notice her?

 

What got me in to both Nozofisu and Yukarin is that they are not really in the spotlight. Its easy to like the the popular members of AKB because their everywhere. These two are special to me.

It helps that their both beautiful.

 

Nozomi is always smiling. It's the biggest, happiest smile out of everyone in AKB48, so this is what made me love her.

Also, she reminds me of someone I used to be really good friends with.

yeah, nice to appreciate the not so noticed girls of the group, i really think Nozofisu is so special and become one of my favorites.
i have her mini-poster, and pin up, she has got one of the best smiles in AKB48!
