Isn't it more that Kojichuu favors primarily senbatsu members? They're the ones that appear on the show the most often. Think of how many times 1st gens that rarely made senbatsu like Kawamura, Saito Chiharu, and Noujo Ami appeared on the show. And the 2nd, 3rd and 4th gens that appear most often also tend to be the ones that are almost always in senbatsu,

Also, in the chart you've linked, Hori is clearly in second place for the 2nd gens with 16 appearances, not 4th.

 

Im talkin bout the overall in 2020 where 1st gen have a guaranteed seat

But anyway the main problem isnt it but most of their topics focus on 1ki leading , they need to reinvent topics where the Kouhais would be the one leading.

 

as I read some suggestion from twitter, maybe they can do another fashion sense check or academic test episodes for their kouhais. that would be interesting.

 

Another awesome episode. Can't believe they spend that much time trying to fix the roll call, I was already laughing a lot with that.

Matsumura and Asuka being mischievous with Kitagawa at the end was priceless.

 

I absolutely loved the voice of that new 4th gen member. I can't stop repeating the part when she said "gokigenyo". The tone of her voice is very ojousama-like.

Asuka still the same as usual; doesn't want to sit with anyone most of the time but I know she likes it when they do. I guess not a lot of members really try to mess with her like how Yamashita does, I hope those 2 does a showroom together one day. I also wonder if she still leans on walls?

 

But you wouldn't see Yamashita eating Asuka's hair like Momoko does..

 

Or give her a guillotine like Renka does. I want more of those moments but only a few is shown. Maybe we'll only get to see it when she decides to graduate and a documentary about her is made.

I wonder if any of the 4th gen girls can mess with her like those 3 does. I feel like her relationship with them is still very distant or not as close as she is to some 3rd gen members. Aren't there any 4th gen that Asuka might want to flirt with by choking them? Who'd love it like Yoda did?

 

For 4th gen , Endo might be the one most comfortable with Asuka.

Yamashita might be closer to Asuka now but I dont think she have reached the closeness Kii and Momoko have with her.

 

Endo is definitely the closest, no doubt about that. Are there any more though? Nothing comes to my mind. I think Kitagawa would enjoy being choked by her though.

Yamashita and Asuka imo are a very good pair and their relationship is still fairly new as it just (I think) started during/after they filmed Eizouken. It has the potential to reach the levels Momoko and Hinako have had with her (Asuka). And I don't really think it'll die at all, I mean Asuka seems to be really liking her too.
It's honestly hard to tell how close Asuka is with someone cause she almost never talks about her relationships with people or vice versa nowadays unlike back in the days when she shared how close she and Hinako was during the Valentine episode, which was probably the most detailed info she revealed about her relationship with someone as far as I can remember. We've never really heard about them since. Did it deteriorate or what; can't say anything at all. And yeah, Momoko, I guess it's not hard to tell how close she is with Asuka, but the latter still won't allow her to have a sleepover nor, at the very least, visit her home .

Asuka is mysterious and very interesting subject to talk about.

I've watched the subbed version of the last episode and I'm amazed by Bananaman, I really respect them. They use comedy but at the same time you can really see they really want the girls to get along together and not causing problems each others, and the curry corner was a way to train them (especially the kouhai), how they should make interesting and good comments and correcting them, which would be useful to when they'll have a chance to have a part like that in japanese tv programs, which is really common. It reminds me of the way they trained the original girls to get better in these things and has been really useful. These girls are REALLY lucky to have them as their MCs and official "oniichans", of course they love them so much.

 

This episode was very cute. From Shibata now having an excuse to text Matsumura more, to all the kouhais growing closer to their senpais through nicknames (NaturallyNeesan is the best haha) and learning how to convey food comments in the future.

The nostalgic preschool and the amusement park had me wheezing cause they were so innocent haha

You meant should be higher in the ranking? I am surprised that Guuzenwo Iiwakenishite wasn't there. Even the members felt the same way about Guuzen

 

Yeah. It's my favorite nogi song, so I am devastated to see it is so underrated.
