RecognizeAKB48Members v0.1.4 is now released and can be downloaded at the RecognizeAKB48Members website.

The names can now be shown in Kanji on easy level. However, I can't read those Kanji symbols, so I couldn't test if the Kanji symbols I copy-pasted are actually correct. So, please tell me if someone has wrong Kanji name.

Changes at version 0.1.4:
- On Easy level names can be selected to be shown (1) both in English and Kanji, (2) only in English or (3) only in Kanji.
- on Hard/Very Hard names typed in Kanji are also accepted.

 

What about graduated members : D?

 

Graduated members and groups are not (and will not be) in the game.

 

Thank you for the new version, I'm somehow sad that the succeeding version won't have Acchan in it since she's gonna graduate soon.

 

Ok, I know the game is free and all, but PLEASE do NOT upload the game files (or rar package) anywhere else! I really don't like the idea that there are lots of old versions of the game hanging around the internet. Besides, I want to be able to see how many people have downloaded the game. If you want to share link to the game, you can link the RecognizeAKB48Members web page.

Just FYI, I also have Windows Phone version of the game. Not releasing it though.

 

Santa Claus is a bit early this year, RecognizeAKB48Members v0.1.6 is now released! A lot of members have been added, removed and moved to their new teams. Some members that have announced their graduation, but haven't been graduated yet, have already been removed from the game. I also added Kitahara Rie to SKE48 Team S and senbatsu, even though her team in SKE48 hasn't been confirmed yet (I'm pretty sure it will be Team S ). I should also mention, that I added Windows installer for the game.

Notice! When you install the game, all your progress and high scores will be reseted. This is done, because AKB48 teams changed so much after the shuffle.

INSTALLATION:
1. Download the rar file at https://sites.google.com/site/recognizeakb48members/.
2. Unpack the rar file using WinRAR or equivalent.
3. Execute setup.exe to install the game.
4. Start the game (by double clicking the shortcut on your Windows desktop).

I download the game, but I can not play because I wonder why I install the game.

You should be able to install the game with these instructions:
1. Download the rar file.
2. Unpack the rar file using WinRAR or equivalent.
3. Execute setup.exe to install the game.
4. Start the game (by double clicking the shortcut icon on your Windows desktop).

If you want you can remove older version of RecognizeAKB48Members before installing new version, but that is not necessary.

 

got this error message even after i uninstalled and installed. tried installing it on another computer but the same error message appears. any solutions?

 

You need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86).

Just telling you that there is team reshuffle and the teams are changed again...
(and Mayuyu back to Team B) [clap]

Anyway, "hard" level is really hard.. [wonder]
I got only 3 correct (Watanabe Mayu, Oshima Yuko and Takahashi Minami)

 

^ I'm aware of the latest resuffle, but as far as I know it's not actually in effect yet. I'm updating the game at some point, maybe in May or June.
